This is my go to spot every time I visit the area. Can’t beat all you can eat, buffet style appetizers and side dishes! They also have some odd things on menu, like intestines, which I absolutely love(although I do like weird types of food, so be warned.) It’s definitely worth the price, especially if you go during lunch time, where the cost is much cheaper. Service was also great, with friendly staff that came over often to check up on us and to see if we needed anything(more meat, replacing the grill, more water, etc.) Location in the mall is also a plus, because you can go for a walk after stuffing yourself with all of that AYCEKBBQ!

Had a great time here! The menu had a great selection of meats and even some seafood which I did not expect. It certainly helped that the quality of the selection was excellent. Perhaps my only gripe would be that while the service staff was all helpful and friendly, from food runner to manager, it was sometimes a bit hard to grab a server during their busiest hours, which is understandable. I highly recommend All That Barbecue if you’re looking for a Korean BBQ place in the area!

All the workers here are extremely friendly and helpful. The hostess Grace was extremely kind and always had a smile on her face. The brisket and beef tongue are really tasty. Overall great experience!

I’ve dined at the Irvine location(and enjoyed it) and decided to try the Arcadia location, but unfortunately it was really disappointing. This location is very different in comparison to the Irvine location. The salad bar was a cool concept considering kbbq places in Korea usually have a salad bar. They also were doing a promotion for half off beer, flavored soju, and wine(they were out of the flavored soju though boo). The main reason I’m giving two stars is because of the meat quality. It was embarrassing because I told my bf that I’ve tried their Irvine location multiple times and that it was good. We only got their brisket and kalbi, and didn’t want to try anything else because we were getting full and were kind of turned off by the quality of the meat. The brisket wasn’t very enjoyable. It was thickly sliced and tough. Kalbi was not much better either. I don’t think I’m a snob when it comes to meat quality when I eat at KBBQ restaurants, but this place is my least favorite of all the restaurants I’ve been to. Only because of the meat quality though. Service was fine and their promotion was cool but I probably won’t be back because I live in downtown LA and there are a lot of better options.

Semi-new AYCEBBQ at the Arcadia Mall! Made a reservation for 13 on a Thursday night but probably wasn’t necessary as the place is pretty big and it wasn’t super packed. We got sat at a big table in the back near the restroom. It was fine but we felt a little neglected in the back. Anyhoo, we had 13 people — 6 adults and 7 kids. Adults are 17.99 and kids over 4 was 10.99, under 4 was free. We ordered the usual — brisket, kalbi, bulgogi, shrimp and we tried this chicken called angry bird, which was spicy and very tasty. A lot of the meat names were kinda dirty which seemed a bit strange. We also got a few egg and tofu dishes, as well as some Hite beer for the table. There is a salad bar with yummy chap chae, salad, kim chi, fruit, rice and soup. Overall it was a really good experience. Service was friendly but a bit slow because we were stuck in the back. Prices are reasonable and the food was yummy.

My expectations coming was not much. I read the good and bad reviews so I expected the worst. Actually it was like a 4 stars overall, why yummy yum? We came on a Friday at 12:30 and it wasn’t busy for 7. The server was better than decent. She was good not excellent but good. She checked in with us pretty often. The lunch was 16.99 which is a good price for ayce. The other places around here were 23.99. It wasn’t worth the rib eye steak. The bubgulj was yummy yum. The beef brisket was thin and easy to cook. The boneless ribs were ok, it was fatty and thick. Not sure it took along time to cook. The side bar was good with the egg rolls, fried rice, chap chae(noodles to al denote for me) was not so tasty. The side dishes like the Kim Chee cucumbers, seaweed was yummy yum. They had Miso soup and fruit for dessert. I also got the steam eggs which was okay. The only thing was they were going to sit us with one cooking trAy with 7 people on a lunch hour. We would have been late for work but luckily we moved three people to another table so the cooking time was much better as it is we were 30 minute late with two cooking devices. I’ve read good and bad reviews I think this is a hit and miss place. For sure the regular menu was good enough for our group. So we didn’t have to pay the extra 5.00. The service was decent too.

Came here again yesterday with my friends and everything was great. Brisket and Bulgogi are my favorite. Salad bar had a variety of options and everything for the most part looked fresh. They also added new stuff since the last time I came. Still prefer this place over Gen. Service today was extremely good. The bus boy actually helped a lot more then the servers. He constantly was changing our grills and asked us if everything was okay. I think his name was Ken? Overall, my goto place for korean bbq. Close to home and reasonable prices for quality meat and service.

I came here as a reward to myself after a rigorous hike nearby. I don’t live near the area so came here after Unilocaling kbbq places and I wasn’t disappointed. I came with a group of 4 and we were all super pleased! I love how they have a little self serve buffer area with side dishes, salad, lettuce for wraps, etc!!! I love myself a good variety of food and they offered just that :) Meat quality was good. I like the taste of their marinated meat a lot better than Gen! It’s not TOO sweet so that I can eat a lot without getting sick of it. The service was good. Although we had a designated server assigned, all the servers were walking around helping each other and customers. The vibe between staff was pleasing to see. The manager also came around and he seemed to be asking each table how everything was. We talked to him for a bit asking questions(comparisons and differences from the Irvine location) and he took his time answering everything with patience. He told us that they are always trying to improve and even asked us for our opinions on how to make this place better! We already love it the way it is so we couldn’t think of anything other than the location(it was hard to find if you’re not used to the area). Overall, it was a good experience and I will definitely come back whenever I’m nearby: D

Once again, I decided to pay this place a visit because I was mad craving some kbarbs and SIDEDISHES. Sides bar: There were actually some new options like fatty pork, sweet and sour chicken and gyoza but the most memorable item to me was the fatty pork ?. It reminded me of something like pork belly but it had more meat attached to it. Eat at your own discretion though because it is actually pretty heavy. Meats: Brisket, bulgogi and beef tongue were all on point. Service: Adriel was our server for the night. Always came by to check up on our table and asked if we needed any more meat even though it was a packed house. Final Verdict: Thumbs up

My teen and her friends are fans of this place, and she convinced us to mosey on over here on a weekday night. Its located at the Santa Anita mall. Its located in the outdoor mall section. We lucked out and found parking easily. Our group of 4 stepped in and we were immediately seated. Saw a sign out front that beer & sake were 50% off. Hubby ordered a beer and I, a hot sake(they only had 1 type of hot sake). All the drinks were brought out quickly except for my hot sake. That took about 10 minutes(I had already gotten my plate of Banchan before it arrived.) There are 2 pricing options for dinner. $ 21.99 or $ 26.99. I had never been to this chain before, and when I asked the server how it all works, she proceeded to explain the concept of Korean BBQ. huh. I meant the pricing and 40 options on the menu. Oh well. The Banchan is offered buffet style. uh oh. I’m generally not a fan of buffets. I stepped over and although there were quite a few options, nothing really jumped out. Tried a few items and found them all either room temperature or cold(bummer when it comes to dumplings of any sort). Even the Kimchi was subpar. The Meat, on the other hand, was pretty good. We tried the Umami Explosion, Ribbed for Pleasure, Hogwarts, Bulgogi & Brisket. Staff would occasionally venture over and help cook things to move things along. Another weeknight special they run is if your bill is over $ 100, they take 10% off. That’s cool. This seems a great spot for teens. My teens liked the music and they had tables to accommodate bigger groups. However, I’d rather make the drive to Koreatown.

I know this place in a mall, and to some people that is a turn off. But it is one of the coolest malls in Southern California. Santa Anita mall is one of the nicest, most family friendly malls in So. Cal and it is lucky to have all that barbecue. This place is huge, clean, and very affordable. They have a large selection of meats and fast service. Their buffet area has a large variety and consistently flavorful. Two options– I always go for the classic menu, because it already has 20 options for meats, chicken, seafood, and veggies. Premium is more expensive and if you want to splurge go for it. But classic works fine for me… it has everything pork belly, beef belly, tongue, brisket, chicken, shrimp… Do I really have to go on, you get the point. EVERYTHING. They take reservations, they are fast. Huge tables, great for families. and its in a mall with a TURTLEPOND!!! Come and eat here, and you will love it! Dragon Egg Approved!1

We were actually waiting for Hai Di Lao(was told an hour wait; this was around 5:30 p.m. on Easter Sunday) when we noticed All That BBQ nearby. We decided to go over to see if there’s a wait there as well. No wait. We were hungry, so All That BBQ it was. I’ve been to an AYCEKBBQ before but not my husband or our friend. They were so surprised to find out it was AYCE, self-served, banchan as well. A really nice man came by to greet and help us — he wasn’t in uniform so I’m guessing he’s a manager — asked us if it was our first visit, etcetera, etcetera, and took our orders. Once our orders arrived, to my surprise, he cooked the meats for us. He first placed the meats on the grill, left, came back and turned them over. Left again, came back and cut the meats into smaller pieces for us. I was really impressed. When we were cooking the second round, a server(in uniform) came by to change the grill/plate. The server changed the grill and proceeded to help transfer the meats from the now dirty plate to the fresh one. We were surprised by that as well. The man returned, asked us how we were doing, chit chatted with us a little bit, and helped us cook and cut the meats some more. I wasn’t paying attention to see if other tables got the same kind of service we got, but I certainly didn’t mind the attention we were getting!(: Third round came and the server returned to change the grill, and then transferred the meats. On the final round another server came to change the grill but we turned him down since we were about done. Wow! I don’t know any restaurant that is so eager to change your grill! And so attentive! The price is fair — considering it’s located in the mall, the quality above average, and the service shown to us was beyond our expectations. I would definitely return!

Oh my god what happened to this place??? It’s been several months(possibly over a year even) since I’ve been back here for AYCEKBBQ and I am disappointed to say that it has undergone some major changes for the worse. The self serve buffet style sides/salad is not the same anymore. They took out all my favorites(slices of baked yam and potato salad) and replaced them with unappetizing junk. Salad used to be crisp and fresh but now it’s looks like they just bought wilted bag salad from the store and left it for days. Meat options are pretty standard. Brisket is always a definite must. The beef belly is similarly tasty although it is certainly quite a bit more fatty. Beef tongue is a little tougher than I normally like for meat but that’s just my preference. The rolled up ribs are still my favorite and are still absolutely divine. Pork belly(my sister’s favorite) comes in a rather thick serving but is nonetheless very delicious if you are willing to wait for it to cook through. You have to ask for rice/radish paper — they are no longer ready on the table setting. Ventilation sort of sucks which really ruins the KBBQ experience. This is especially displeasing because I remember when I went to their original Irvine location they had THE best ventilation I have ever experienced at a KBBQ restaurant. Step it up guys! Service is probably the one redeeming quality of this place. All of the waitstaff were so polite and attentive. We had no issues ordering more rounds and getting our meat in a timely manner.

2016 Unilocal100CHALLENGE — 010⁄100 Checked out All That Barbecue after visiting the Westfield Santa Anita mall for the first time with my friend! We liked that it was open later, so we were able to go shopping at the mall until it closed at 9pm, and then went to All That Barbecue which was open until 11pm. This place was pretty big and spacious. We came on a Wednesday night a little after 9pm and there was literally only 2 other tables of people besides us. Pretty dead. We were seated and immediately got to go to the salad bar which I was super impressed with! I’ve never been to a KBBQ place that had a self-service salad/side dish bar which was awesome because I tend to only eat like half of the things other places give. This allowed me to pick and choose what I wanted, and get a LOT of what I wanted, so that was awesome! Our waiter was seriously the best. I’m bummed I cannot remember his name because I promised him I would mention him in my review T___T But he was super friendly and informative, explaining all of the different meats to us to help us choose the ones we wanted. He was also very attentive and checked up on us frequently, which was great! All of the meats were really delicious and I think we tried maybe like 5 – 6 kinds? They had a great selection, even for the regular/cheaper menu. Overall, I really enjoyed my time at All That Barbecue and would definitely recommend! Totally coming back here next time I am in the area!

Okay, I have to update my review. Little did I know that they change their self serve salad bar area. They didn’t have any of the sides I normally like, which was disappointing because I was looking forward to the japchae and potato salad. Also I normally get a bunch of cilantro, which they had, but none of it was chopped! It was just large sprigs of cilantro that we had to tear ourselves. Not a fan of that. Otherwise, the meat is still good, service is okay & somewhat slow, and they don’t have tables that are big enough to seat more than 5 people, so it was kind of annoying that my party of 10 had to sit at 2 different tables. Oh well!

When I first tried this AYCEKBBQ place, I was in love. Back then, there was no separation between premium and normal, and many of their steak meats were great! After the past few years, it is now rather disappointing. The meats are not as good, the service is still good but not as good as before, and the prices are more expensive(used to be the current normal price but included the premium meat selection). They do have a decent self-serve buffet area with a wide variety of sides to choose from. There is a variety of soups, fried items, some of the usual Korean sides(I love being able to grab a ton of kimchi instead of waiting for them to bring me tiny platter after tiny platter at some other places), and a small salad bar. Every time that we have been wanting to try the Winnie the Pooh(rice cake with honey), they told us that it ran out. One time, we even had to wait for nearly 30 minutes before they actually got to telling us that they ran out. We literally followed up on our request every 5 – 10 minutes as we were all done aside from wanting to try it for dessert, only to find out 30 minutes later that one of the staff members said they had run out hours ago. That was quite a disappointment. Overall, I have been disappointed by the quality of food going down and also the fact that service is not up to the standards they had initially. It is still better service than most AYCEKBBQ however. It could have just been bad experiences during the last two trips, but I will probably be back to give things a try one more time in the future.

Warning: Make sure you bring a change of clothes to wear if you plan to go other places after eating here or at least some back-up perfume/cologne because you will smell like what you eat afterwards! Reservations: Yes, they do take reservations but only parties of 6 or more. Arrive on time because you won’t get seated until a large portion of your party arrives. People are literally out the door and inside waiting around to be seated.(Quite popular location!!) Service: Very quick and efficient. Majority of the time, we got everything we asked for including drink refills and extra orders of this & that timely without having to ask twice. Workers there are quick and efficient to make sure there is a least amount of wait time as can be.

Husband and I came for lunch around 1, the waiter informed us that since it’s a holiday(Martin Luther King Jr.) we were going to be charged the dinner rate of 22 $. We should have walked out. I guess our bellies didn’t let us. We sat down asked for 2 ice teas and went to the salad bar. Everything was good but selection was small. I feel like Manna in Little Tokyo had more selection. We ordered the karubi in Tokyo beef, eight spicy arms(3 octopus), and beef bulgogi. Everything tasted good and we were full. We wanted to try the Winnie the Pooh(rice cake and honey something something) but they ran out. Our bill was about $ 53. I did not want to tip since they didn’t refill our drinks, they didn’t have an item we wanted and we were charged at a hire rate. I hope the staff got paid extra today since they were working on a holiday. I would rather go to Gen or Oo Kook, but if you are at the mall and really want KBBQ…
