it’s okay. guess I can’t complain. the staff lady was talking to me in Chinese and I just said, «I’m sorry, Oreo smoothie please?» I guess it matched up with what she said cause she still spoke in Chinese haha. the Oreo smoothie was Oreos and ice, so don’t expect a milkshake. it was a little strange and watery but exactly what it said it was haha

I saw someone else ordering the iced milk as I finished my meal in the food court and thought hey… maybe it’ll taste like half and half. Boy was I wrong. It was more of a caramel flavor rather than brown sugar. The consistency of they pudding was off. It was too soft. I can barely tell i’m sucking up pudding vs. the milk alone. Boba was nice and soft though. I don’t think i’ll be ordering iced milk from here again. $ 2.20 isn’t too bad though for a drink. It was pretty big.

I went here for a milk boba. I saw a sign that they had a $ 1 boba special so I gave it a shot. It had a very milky taste. About one hour later, I was in the restroom suffering.

This place looks ghetto, but the drinks are actually pretty decent. I tried their signature caramel ice milk drink with pudding and honey boba. It wasn’t overly sweet and did not come with way too much crushed ice pieces a la honey boba. Their boba was the prefect consistency too, chewy and fresh tasting. It was $ 4.20 for the drink, but if you happen to be eating at the food court, I’d say give this place a chance!

super nice lady — and their boba tea is the BEST quality i can find outside of Taiwan(where bobas drinks originally were invented).

After eating at Daikokuya this evening, I decided to finally give this yogurt place a try. The smallest cup sold for $ 2.20, so what the heck — I’ll try just a little bit of each of their 4 flavors. Went to the counter, no one there. Grabbed a cup and helped myself. Then I went to the counter to pay. That’s when all hell broke loose. When a worker finally came, she looked at my cup and went to call someone from the back. An old lady came out, looked at my cup, and told me I wasn’t supposed to serve myself because they don’t sell by weight but by cup size(but the dispensers and toppings were all on the outside!). They weighed my cup — 11 oz(with the cup, mind you); so they wanted to charge me two sizes up. I said no, you don’t sell by weight but by cup size and that is the smallest cup. But no, they said, the smallest cup is a 5 oz. cup. Uhm… so I guess when they get you the yogurt they get to the rim and no more(unlike the hand-drawn pictures, btw). So I said I just want the smallest size so scrape off the extra(yeah, I know — but they were being ridiculous). They said no. I said I’ll pay $ 2.20 or I don’t want the yogurt. They said fine, don’t buy it. So I didn’t.

Milk tea was eh. I found it weird how they sell froyo in a cone. In addition I saw the cones placed inside a wholesale size jelly container.

I probably will need to re-rate this place after I try the yogurt, but for now, my review is based on the boba I had here. I got the boba milk tea here twice, mainly because I was eating here anyway and the boba was 99 cents(on special). I thought it was a decent cup of boba — the tea had a hint of coffee flavor, which I love(but my bf did not like as much). The boba were soft and chewy — not overly sweet but sweet enough. It’s a shame they don’t sell 99 cent boba anymore.

Came here after eating dim sum next door at Full House.(The $ 0.99 boba grand opening ad outside lured me in!) There was only one girl working and the wait for the drinks took awhile. The boba milk tea, even though cheap, was no good. The boba was overcooked/way too mushy. You can taste the powder in the milk tea =( IF I ever come back, I’ll skip the boba milk tea. Hopefully their yogurt and juice will be much more promising.

So I was eating at the next-door Daikokuya ramen and decided that I needed a tasty beverage to complement my ramen. I haven’t had boba in a while so I made a beeline to this Yogurt and Juice Bar thing to get some! They had a sign advertising 99 cent boba milk tea, so I got it. Just like the add said, I paid under a buck with tax and everything and got a tasty boba! The milk tea was good and the boba was very good. Not hard or old tasting like other places, these were all perfectly consistent in their flavor and texture. If anything, the milk tea was a bit weak. But at that price, I’m a fan.

Yogurt & Juice Bar just opened! It’s inside the President’s Square Food Court(next to 99 Ranch Market). They offer self-serve frozen yogurt [and toppings] for $.35/oz. Their yogurt is all natural and their toppings are really fresh. I tried the regular tart & raspberry with cheesecake bites, yum! They also offer tea and boba tea drinks for $ 2.00+(honey boba, pudding, or different jelly are an additional $.50). The current promotion is buy two drinks, get one drink FREE! Ordered a honey milk green tea with honey boba($ 2.75 + $.50). I was refreshed by the fresh milk in my drink; you could also taste the honey sweetened boba too! The owners are friendly and super personable. The food court has gone through some serious revamping — the bathrooms were remodeled and some of the food stalls have done major remodel. A Japanese vendor will be opening next week too! With some many popular and expensive tea & yogurt shops out there, Yogurt & Juice Bar is a great alternative. You get more bang for your buck and a place to hang out without being hassled to order a minimum amount to dine-in. Their current hours are 9AM-10PM, but may be open until 11PM soon.
