Bomb flat whites, the lattes and cold brew iced coffee is definitely worth a try! Yummy and consistently good

Quaint and small but pleasant interior with some comfy chairs and a long table. Good for small meetings or if you’re looking for a more down-low spot away from the standalone location in the same plaza. Atmosphere is different from the usual Starbucks because its inside a Pavilion’s — so there’s generally less people noise and more AC background noise. Drinks are average, nothing to set it apart much from other Starbucks places.

This one star review has nothing to do with the quality or the service. This Starbucks get one star because they have a bar area with outlets that have no power. I already compromised to do my studying and writing in a grocery store, I don’t want to have to do it in a Panda Express as well.

I was demoted to this Starbucks in the Pavilions mall because the one literally next door was packed and no tables were available. A couple things I didn’t like about this one: 1. It is located in the market and it can get even louder when you are trying to find a quiet place. 2. The drinks are more expensive than a real Starbucks location.(I think… they might be the same price since the last Starbucks price increase) 3. There are barely any outlets so you are confined to the bars against the wall for wall plugs. If you can’t find a seat at the real one, you can come over here. You won’t feel like you are in a Starbucks, but it’s a place to sit and you can log on to the Safeway wifi(which might be faster than the usual Starbucks wifi). You can still use your Starbucks card here so at least you are still getting your stars! If you are looking for a quick drink, I say you can come here. I had no problem with my drink but mine was just a shaken iced tea. If you are looking for a place to study, I suggest the real one next door.

This Starbucks place is no Bueno… especially since the Starbucks in the same complex is the bomb! I would suggest anyone to take a few steps down the walkway and go to the other one. I always enjoy Starbucks, but for some reason, this one is no Bueno… it might be because it is franchised by Pavilions, so the product is not as good.

I don’t understand why 2-star so far. Service is on the slower side but good. Interior is nice, but on the smaller side. There are a few chairs and tables outside, usually taken. Generally this is place is not the best Starbucks you can find, but good enough and staff is nice.

This location is just like any other Starbucks. They serve the same drinks, have shelves selling bags of various beans & mugs. But one thing I did enjoy, it wasn’t busy here like the actual store that’s a mere 50 feet away. When I arrived to meet a friend for coffee, I noticed the actual store was quite packed. Though this one is located inside a supermarket, they serve the same drinks, have the same shelves selling the same bags of beans & mugs, but compared to the actual store right next door, this location was quiet and had plenty of seating. I usually grab my coffee & run, but if friends ever want to meet again, this would be an ideal location to sit & chat. notes: * free Wifi * AC was on full blast, bring a thin hoodie or something. * restrooms located on the opposite end of the supermarket

The folks who work here are not Starbucks people but Safeway people. They don’t seem to be very into the consistency and care much about their customers. They also can’t accept the free drinks on your card.

As a guy who has worked in customer service for over 7 years, our cashier Ashley doesn’t pay attention to us see her friends walk in and greets them as they’re walking through the door while we waited and eventually ended up repeating our order 3 times. Not sure if she is new but I’m sure a bad attitude wasn’t part of Starbucks training. She also took my card out of my hand very aggressively. She continues to flirt with her friend as I’m writing this review. The other barista made all of the orders while she chit chats away. No stars for RUDE Ashley(who needs extra attention and training) and 5 stars for the hard working gentleman.

I’ve been disappointed by the drinks that this Starbucks has made more than a few times — I feel that compared to the Starbucks next door, this location inside Pavilions really lacks in quality, which is probably why there are so many people willing to wait in line for coffee at the location next door while this one is usually pretty empty. I do like that the Starbucks here has been remodeled. Instead of a little stand, they now have their own space complete with a divider that separates the customers sitting inside from the rest of the store. There are tables and a few high chairs that people can sit on to chat or study. I believe the flooring has changed from wood to carpet, giving it a more homely feel(although I’m not too sure). But the bakery items that this Starbucks carry is far more limited compared to any other location, and they do not sell any food(sandwiches, salads), only standard drinks. The main reason that I feel that this Starbucks isn’t comparable is because of the inconsistent drinks that I keep getting. Sometimes it will be really good and on par(like when there was the 50% off frap sale where I guess the constant flow of customers kept the baristas on their toes, cranking out quality drinks), but more often than not, the drinks fall way below the quality that Starbucks usually provides for me. I ordered a caramel macchiato the other day and the drink came out looking like a very watered down latte. Usually a caramel macchiato has three separate colors — white, brown and light brown — where I get overly excited at mixing all three so I can get that sweet shot of caramel syrup before drinking the milk and the espresso. But this one had barely any coffee flavor and wasn’t even overly sweet — it just tasted off. Another time I’ve ordered a frap where it was too watery or a coffee that lacked the strong flavor that coffee usually has. All these fail moments really make me wonder why I keep returning. The service can be really great or really bad. I’ve had baristas greet me who are so enthusiastic that it just puts a smile on my face. I’ve seen them have customer repeats as well. But more often than not, the baristas look really tired and uneager to offer a smile. Not everybody has good days, but it just seems like the mood of this little Starbucks kiosk is more dull and lifeless. Overall, a great spot to sit and talk, study, people watch, but the drinks are usually less than perfect. Definitely recommend waiting a little longer to get coffee from the Starbucks next door.
