We needed to stop for lunch and decided on the Outback Restaurant near Anderson. We both had the Outback special Sirloin. With a salad and potato it made a very good lunch.

We tried Outback for the Christmas holiday. Bad mistake… we waited over one hour for our food, and finally the manager came up to tell us our«food ticket» was stuck in the printer and missed. Our food came about 15 minutes later, and wasn’t anything to wait that long for. Should have gone to Jack-In-the-Box to get something quick and edible! We won’t be going back to Outhouse, I mean Outback again! I felt bad for the Waiter.

Worse service I’ve ever had here. I’m very disappointed! Won’t be back for awhile. I would have complained but never seen a manager until we were leaving. I guess others were complaining also. This OUTBACK needs new management FAST!

Power went out, but the owner did everything he could to make our meal great. Everything turned out awesome despite having to eat in the dark. You could tell this guy had contingency plans in place for emergencies –Always a great time– even in the dark. Highly recommended

I just wished that they would bake some decent bread. The thing that they call bread, is frozen, partly reheated garbage.

This location is near multiple hotels so that’s probably the reason it’s really busy. I can tell you it’s not busy due to the impeccable service. I tried this location on two separate nights and the service was so bad I left both times. I sat at the bar and went unnoticed for over 10 min both times. Not a glance from the bartenders and I finally just had to leave. Now I’ve worked in the service industry and I know it gets busy. At least acknowledge my presence. BTW, I did get take out and it was good. That’s the reason for the two stars.

Met up with some out of town family and this place was chosen due to its proximity to their hotel. I am not a fan of the Outback chain because I think it is way overpriced for the quality of meat you get which I why I don’t order steak there but this Outback is either way below even their standards or the new«norm» for them. Which? I can’t say since this is the first time I have eaten at one in about 6 years. Service 1 out of 5 stars. The restaurant was not completely full and we were seated right away but had a healthy amount of guests. The waiter took a little longer than normal to take our orders after he brought our drinks. Then the real fun began. One of my companions ordered prime rib only to be told 5 minutes later that the prime rib was sold out. Why didn’t the server know of this before? Since I do not eat their steak, I wanted to order a burger so I opted for the Blossom Burger cooked medium. I know better than to order med-rare in a place like this but medium should be no problem. The server promptly told me that the closest they can maybe get it is medium well if not well. I asked him if they just don’t cook things medium and he responded with«Its a thin patty and they can’t get it medium.» A thin patty? For $ 10? I’m sorry, I thought this wasn’t McDonalds — MYBAD. So I changed my order to the chicken strips dinner which came with fries. After waiting an hour for our food(along with everyone else around us including a guy who decided to dump salt on his bread plate and eat that with his finger while he waited) and 0 check ins from the server to let us know its coming or check on drinks … the food finally shows up. Food 1 out of 5 stars. My food shows up with no fries and one of my companion’s side on my plate instead of hers. The runner said he would go get my fries. 2 out of 3 of my companions steaks were not med-rare, they were med-well. The other actually ordered it that way so … there’s a hit. Whooopie. When my fries were brought out I noticed how dark they were. But not the dark of a little well done on the fries but the dark of being fried in rancid grease that should have been changed a week ago. And they tasted even worse. I then took a bite of my chicken strips only to find out they were also equally as rancid. The baked sweet potato was burned on the bottom which of course meant 25% of the potato itself was inedible. Somewhere in the middle of this wonderful meal, the server did show up to ask if we wanted refills. One time during the entire 2 hours we were there. But then he only refilled the tea and ignored the 2 half empty glasses of water. Stay away. Just … stay … away.

Don’t ever stop here to dine unless you have 90 minutes to wait for food. Everything tastes«off» like a poor fast-food version of the Outback fare. Keep on driving.. .this place gives Outback a bad name.

Just waited 50 minutes at take out for a piece of grilled chicken. The manager refunded my charge, stating that they were just having a tough night. Unfortunately, this is the fifth or sixth tough night I’ve encountered in the last six months at this location. I appreciate the refund, but the processes have to get better, or I won’t be able to continue dining at this restaurant.

Had lunch there yesterday, and our waitress was pretty much the best one I’ve ever had. She was incredibly attentive and always kept our glasses full. She even cleared our table completely after each course… I’ve never seen anyone do that before! The food was awesome, as I’ve come to expect from Outback, so no surprise there.

Some Outbacks are better than others and I would rate this one on the lower end if the scale. Every time we’ve gone our servers have been GREAT! That said, there must be issues in the kitchen. The food is pretty inconsistent: one time our bloomin onion will be fresh and hot, other times lukewarm and kind of stale. The last time I was there I had the salmon and found a hair on it. The manager was very kind and comped my entrée; however, we’ll be visiting some other steak places before returning.

SLOW service. Waitress seemed overwhelmed or something. Asked for steak sauce twice. Took forever to give our drink order. Food was underwhelming.

Great food and service as expected. Nice roadside oasis. Clean and no wait. Food came quickly and entrée was paced perfectly behind apps. Just what you expect from the best of Outback.

Stopped by for lunch while passing through on 85. We expected a long wait, considering it was right around the time church gets out. We were told 15 – 20 minute wait, we were seated in 5 minutes. The Ahi Tuna appetizer was fresh & cold! The timing from app to salad to entrée was perfect, and someone even cleared our dishes right before the next was brought out. Very impressed with service & general flow of the restaurant, especially at such a busy time of day!

Horrible trip. We called ahead and we’re told there was a 25 minute wait. Told is we called ahead there wouldn’t be a wait. Set up a time. Arrived 4 minutes ahead of time and told them that we had called ahead. Given a buzzer. Waiting for over 30 minutes. Told that bc we arrived early it didn’t «kick in» until our time, which would be fine if we didn’t have to wait until 30 minutes after we called ahead!!! Was told that they were waiting on 6 tops that had been there for 2 hours! So instead of getting to celebrate our daughters bday there we went down the street to fudruckers where the service was great and no wait. Will NEVERGOBACK. I am a radio host who will make sure people know about my experience on Monday.

Maybe a bad night the first time, but when I went back a second time still no bueno! Service is slow, food is overpriced, and while sitting at the bar I witnessed 2 plates get sent back. I would prefer Logan’s or Roadhouse instead, but the Bloomin Onion is always good.

WoW! I haven’t left a five star review for an Out back in a long time. I was depressed how bad Outback has gotten. This place actually brought back memories of eating in the first Outback’s in the early nineties in FL. The place was clean. The staff was friendly. The food was good. All the things which would make me return to this location.

Tonight we went to Outback with the intention of having BBQ Ribs. During our wait, they brought around a sample tray of prime rib and it was so good that it swayed my vote. My dinner date stayed with her original plan. The ribs were superb, as usual. The prime rib was also excellent, but I ordered it very rare and it was served medium… the center was pink and warm. I absolutely will not send meat back because I refuse to waste it(only in very rare cases have I done this). And this cut was actually very good even though it was a bit over cooked for my taste. The overall experience was positive. Great atmosphere. Great attitudes. Great time. But they got the order wrong… sorry, but that counts against them.

Great service, decent food offerings, A-OK for this location. The wait is long on a night before a home Clemson game, be early or be waiting.
