Country Inn & Suites Anderson

We stopped in on a road trip and found this hotel to be at $ 50 less than the places nearby. The room was clean and we had a fridge an microwave in the room. The staff are very nice and were accommodating. They also gave us AAA discount. Also, a nice ht breakfast and smiling faces greeted us in the morning before we left.
We would stay here again for the value and convenience.
One con: the shower didnt get super hot at night for my husband, but I thought it was fine in the morning for me. Perhaps the hot water ran out just as he was getting in? It was hot, but not hot hot for him.

Surprised to see that this hotel isn’t rated higher!
We arrived an hour before check-​in time so yes we had to wait in the lobby while our room was being cleaned. They did not make us wait long at all. Probably about 20 minutes at the most.
The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The décor is up to date. The staff is awesome. Walking through the hallways, we were always greeted with a hello/​good morning. They make you truly feel welcomed. Next time we are in Anderson visiting family, we will be booking again.

I am very impressed with the excellent customer service I received at this Country Inn & Suites. I was traveling and stopped after 9 pm with a pet to see if I could find a place to stay for the night before resuming my trip in the am. Mr. Hudson checked me in and was very pleasant and efficient.
The room was very clean and nice and quiet; the whole hotel seems to have been nicely remodeled recently. Everything worked fine in the room and my dog and I enjoyed a very restful night’s sleep.
In the morning all of the staff I met were courteous and smiled and were not afraid to engage in pleasant conversation. I stayed for some waffles and bacon in the breakfast area, and was surprised to find real plates and stainless silverware in use so I could actually cut the waffles and not worry about breaking a plastic fork or cutting through a styrofoam plate — awesome!

One of the worst hotels stays I have ever had. Just skip this place, the breakfast they have is awful. Was there for 3 nights and was ready to check in at 3pm on a Sunday. Unfortunately our rooms were not ready and so had to wait in the lobby with a 4yr old and a 1 month old in the lobby. So we get to the room and figure it would be a good time to visit the indoor pool. We proceed to go down with my very excited 4 year old only to find out the pool is closed for some mechanical failure causing no chlorine to be pumped in the pool. So I go the front desk and they said it may be fixed the following day. So then I decide to go use there «gym».lol. They might as well call it a closet with a treadmill and a stationary bike. I was going to use the weight system they had, but that was broken with an out of order sign. I go to the front desk and ask how long it had been broken and she didn’t know and really didn’t seem to care. So day two rolls around and we come back down for breakfast and they might as well just close it. It tasted bland and really not worth the visit. Get done with breakfast and decide to go see if the pool is ready… of course it isn’t. I go back to the front desk and then they offer to let us use the pool next door in another hotel. My immediate thought was why this wasn’t offered the previous day. So then I decide to visit the closet… oops I mean the gym. I try to run on the treadmill and they only have it set to be used for 18mins at a time. I mean really? Who the hell only runs for 18mins and why would they have it programmed that way. Of course I ran the 18 mins and had to stop and reset it again, just a pain a in the ass. Finally on our last day we got to use the pool «heated» indoor pool, however only to find out there was no heat.lol. The pool was ice cold and my son started shivering and we left. I could go on, but lets just say if your passing through Anderson… just keep on driving if you see this place.
