Don’t waste your money. Overcooked wings — all three orders. Drunken shrimp tasted like overcooked shrimp in a bowl of French onion soup. Very disappointed. Waitress unapologetic and irritated. Just an overall negative experience when we were out celebrating.

I ordered the Braveheart wings with blue cheese dressing and 6 chicken feathers(3 atomic flavor and 3 garlic flavor). The wings were super hot, probably the hottest wings I have ever eaten. However, the flavor was rich and the wings were cooked to near perfection. The blue cheese was absolutely delicious and tasted homemade, hands down one of the best condiments I’ve had from any dining establishment. The chicken feathers on the other hand were very dry, bland, and reminded me of frozen chicken that comes out of a box. I won’t be purchasing those anymore, but the Braveheart wings I will be trying again. Wild Wings Café is a bit overpriced in my opinion, but I presume they have their own fan base.

If I could give it zero stars, I would. It took 45 minutes to get our wings, and when they arrived, the chicken was overcooked and barely warm. The service was subpar and the only positive thing about our experience was the company we were keeping.

So the wings are good with 33 different flavours. The buffalo shrimp had far to much batter for me.(then again, I don’t like batter on seafood). Chicken/cheese dip was exceptional. But serving it with chips dyed red & blue was lame. They had 2 different IPAs on tap so that was a plus as in this area IPA beer is uncommon. So yes it’s worth checking out.

The food was fine. It’s wings and french fries! Kind of hard to mess these up. Our problem wasn’t the food or even our server. It was the hour plus wait to get our simple meal(not the server’s fault) and the fact that the manager didn’t bother to come out from wherever he/she was hiding to acknowledge our disappointment. A simple visit would’ve gone a long way. I suppose he/she doesn’t care about customer service. This is a roadside establishment that’s bound to remain busy, especially on Clemson game days. The manager definitely should not be rewarded for the store’s performance(assuming it’s good). It’s happening despite his/her lack of concern for the customers or the servers. Terrible!

Best day to go is Tuesday night since it’s buy one get one. 2 people can go in and get 20 wings and split the bill and only pay around $ 5-$ 6(without an app and drinking water). Steal town spuds are one of my favorite appetizers, delicious! Service is sometimes slow but that’s at any restaurant, it just depends on who you get! They also have karaōke on Tuesday nights starting at 9, and it’s entertaining even if you aren’t the one singing! Tuesday is the best night to go, any other day of the week and I wouldn’t even think about going here.

The appetizers took about 20 mins with a half full restaurant. When our appetizers finally arrived you can tell they had been sitting in the warmer for quite awhile. I have gone to their location in Brier Creek NC and had much better service. Everything was slow and the food was a below avg. Skip this place if you can. Our entrees took another 30mins.

Slow service. Food was warm at best. You would think someone would notice when you don’t eat your meal there is something wrong. Nope! Can’t wait for J. peters to rebuild so those of us at a hotel without transportation have an option.

Just had to keep waiting… ran out of beer for 15 minutes… enough said. Waitress was an airhead. Didn’t get food right on appetizer nor main dish. They are riding on their reputation. BTW…this was two nights in a row. Figures it was just a snafu on Fri so gave them a chance sat. No go.

I must be spoiled living in Asheville. In this city, most restaurants take pride in the food they serve. Farm to table, organic, and free range are words you commonly hear. I didn’t expect this to be the case when we jumped off the highway on the way to Atlanta for a Stevie Wonder concert. My wife saw the Wild Wing Café sign and we thought that we might be able to get something marginally healthy off the highway. We entered the restaurant simply to get a to go order to take back on the road. We looked at the menu and were unsure of gluten-free options, so we asked the young woman behind the host counter who didn’t really know. Another server provided us with a couple of pieces of paper, but couldn’t confirm or deny that the sauces were gluten-free. Finally, someone came out of the back and confirmed the sauces all contained gluten. My goal was to order the chicken feathers, which I’ve had here in Asheville at Wild Wing. We ordered potato skins for my wife and an order of 6 chicken feathers with an extra 2 included. Our order came out and we then paid and left. We were on the road to Atlanta and my wife opened the chicken feathers for me. While they seemingly looked good, once I tasted them, I was extremely disappointed. The chicken tasted cheap. Like the cheapest boneless chicken you could buy. I told my wife that I could guarantee — with her sensitive stomach — that if she at the chicken feathers she would not feel well later. I went on to try and force down 3 of the 8. Having been on the road for an hour and a half, I needed a snack, but I simply couldn’t stomach taking one more bite and told my wife to just put them away. I can’t say they were undercooked. I didn’t get sick. I just think that the chicken they use is poor quality. It’s cheap, tastes a little rubbery, and was sort of slimy actually. It just literally sucked. I’m sure most people don’t know the difference between really good chicken and crap, because most Americans today don’t seem to care about quality. They only care about price. For me and my wife, we have to eat healthy, gluten free food. When it’s one of the only things on the menu you just can’t get wrong, it’s so disappointing to walk into a restaurant and leave with such a negative experience. It just says, profits before people. I’d be willing to bet the servers don’t say a word to management when they get complaints, because if they did, this Wild Wing would serve better quality chicken feathers than what they do today. Needless to say, I will never go back to this Wild Wing when I’m on the road. I’d rather eat McDonalds then the chicken they serve at Wild Wing.

I’m guessing many of the guests arriving at this Wild Wing Café are staying at the many hotels that surrounding, in addition to residents of Anderson. We’ve stayed at the Fairfield Inn, in the same parking lot, many times in the last two years and at night make the walk to Wild Wing Café. If you’ve been to one of these in other places in South Carolina, North Carolina or Florida you know it’s a great place to come to watch sporting events and drink. This location has a decent number of TV’s, not as many as most of them, but offers live music at times, too. The question is why Wild Wing Café vs all the other chain restaurants(including Hooters) in this area? Good question. Hooters brings much better scenery, but the food doesn’t hold a note to Wild Wing Café. Also, we had wonderful service here, which isn’t always the case at Hooters. I’d plan on coming here if you want to watch sporting events and take your time with your meal. They won’t be trying to push you out the door here. The food is pretty good for sport bar/chain food. The burgers are hand-padded and taste fresh, the salads are huge and if you get a chance, try the Sliders, not bad! All in all, this is a great place to come with buddies to watch games, have a few beers or bring the family for a fun filled dinner in an inviting atmosphere. Or come here after you eat somewhere else, sit back, have a few drinks and watch games.

Tuesday is karoake night love it! We order the China syndrome wings which are really hot! Makes your nose run but they are so good!!! Also Tuesday’s are buy one get one free so if you buy 10 wings you get 10 free you can do same Sauce or get different wings sauce.

Wings were ready for our large take out order on time. The number of different flavors they offer may keep them from being able to get them all eaten or tried. In general, a $ 35 bill in bar isn’t out of line, but w/o drinks it seems high. The flavor of the wings are better across the street at hooters.

We just ate here and had the best service we’ve had in months from any place we’ve been to recently. Wendy was the perfect server. She never let our drinks come close to empty but never hovered. The food was okay, not the best not the worst either, but Wendy pushed a 2 – 3 star rating to a 4 – 5 star rating single handedly.

I’d rate the food at this place as «okay». Save your money on the fries and nachos. The buffalo wings are dry, even the sauced traditional wings. The honey BBQ wings are decent. The live band was enjoyable and $ 2 Bud Light on a Friday night. Don’t plan on coming back here, unless it’s free.

Awesome, awesome place!!! When for the 1st time & wings are great. Good flavor, big, and juicy. The best by far here in the Anderson area. Burgers are juicy, ribs(OMG) the meat fall off & full of flavor. Good service. The only thing that I would recommend for the restaurant to change is «provide good strong napkins instead of old smelly short towels. Try it u won’t regret it!

Me, my husband and a friend decided to visit Wild Wings, since none of us had ever eaten there before, It was the biggest mistake we ever made for a restaurant. When we got to our table it was dirty and sticky, we asked for it to be cleaned. When the girl came over to clean it she only cleaned half the table. We received menus that was all dirty and had food stuck to them(even the drink menu on the table looked like it hadn’t been wiped down since the place opened). I used a purell sanitizing wipe on my hands(after touching the table and menu). I used another on the table to finish cleaning it, when finished the wipe was completely black… ewe. We decided we were not chancing eating there so we asked for the check. Before leaving I decided to visit the ladies room(so not a good idea), the toilet seats were broken(sitting sideways) and toilet paper was all over the floor. I decided to just wash my hands and leave but the sink was completely covered in used paper towels and toilet paper and both paper towel dispensers were empty. Needless to say we will never visit this place again and I still want to know how they are even open!!!

Good choice for wings and a cold beer. Wings are excellent. Good neighborhood place to catch the game or sit on patio and enjoy the wings.

Had a great wing sampler and huge onion rings. Food was tasty and fresh. Not as spicy as indicated. Service was good. Recommended over hooters.
