Comfort Suites

Had to borrow their pool since Country Inn Suites next door was out of service. Think we might stay here next time we are in Anderson

I stayed at this hotel last weekend while in Anderson attending a family member’s wedding. The hotel was adequate… Some of the employees were really nice, while others weren’t very friendly. Breakfast was nothing special — coffee, several basic cereals, a couple different muffins, plain bagels, and yogurt. The hotel room was a nice size but could use some updates. The bedspread was an older style and the blanket was very worn.
This hotel gets 3 stars instead of 2 just because it was only $ 73 per night. Yes, only $ 73. However, I looked up the rate online for the same weekend, and it was showing $ 200 per night. I really wouldn’t want to pay over $ 100 – 120 for this hotel, and the thought of paying $ 200 is absurd. However, Clemson is located very close to the hotel, so I understand that hotels in this area are currently in high demand due to parents moving their children back to school.

The maid tried to steal my iphone. It was on the night stand. I went to the counter to check out, realized I left it, went back to the room the maid was in there and said «no speak english» When I went to speak with the manager the maid followed me and was acting very guilty. The manager was no help at all. Very rude and confrontational. I finally said well I am going to call the police and file a report. The maid heard the word police and said No! I left to get in my car and all of a sudden they came running outside with the phone wrapped in a sheet and said we found it in the laundry shoot. … Ummmm yeah right!

Gold Award Winning Property. Four stories, interior entrances.
This is a lovely property. The center area is open, skylights with neon lighting, nice breakfast buffet seating area, and glass elevator.
Room was quite spacious, quiet surroundings. Many restaurants and a movie theatre within walking distance.
I enjoyed being here for two nights.
