Got food to go after a long day at Disneyland. Food was amazing. Service was great! Will definitely be back next time we are in Anaheim!

We came here all the way from San Fransisco! I was born and raised in Anaheim CA and moved away before this Johnny Rockets opened and now I’m back for a visit at Disneyland with my family to enjoy Disney and a great meal and was very happy with the overall experience! I’m glad we came to browse around. Definitely will come back here when were visiting !

Ate here last year while I’m on vacation and the kids loved it. We will be going to Disneyland this weekend and we will definitely be going back to Johnny’s.

I’ve never been to a Johnny Rockets, and we do have one in my hometown. We couldn’t find a place to eat on a Saturday night, and discovered this restaurant tucked waaaaaaaaaaaay in the back of the shopping center. It’s noisy, it’s busy but we were hungry and grateful to find a restaurant. The burgers are just okay. Nothing special. When I eat burgers, I love char-grilled ones, and that’s not what you get here. Our service was good, and I marveled at how hard the kitchen staff was working. I don’t think I’d make a special trip to eat at one of these again.

Sometimes you just need to have a burger. This is exactly what you expect from a retro diner styled burger joint. If you’re looking for a $ 15 gourmet turkey beacon tofu burger this ain’t your spot. But it is what it is. Good pre-measured consistency. Manager /owner? Good guy. Working hard to make his customers happy. Nothing special… just your basic burger. Fries extra.

Greasy diner style burger and fries type place. Pretty much get what you would expect. Foods not bad but nothing to right home about. They didn’t mix the chocolate syrup into my daughters chocolate milk. They did give my daughter a balloon animal after which she loved.

This Johnny Rockets, located on the top floor of the Garden Walk Ghost Town, is one of the smaller ones I’ve been into. But the food was very good and the service personable. There are a dozen tables inside and probably a dozen outside too but I chose to sit at the counter. I ordered the bacon cheddar burger, fries and a salted caramel milkshake. Look, a few days before I had an incredible gourmet wagyu burger and of course this can’t compare. But it was better than any fast food burger so it lands somewhere in-between. The burger was big and juicy and everything about it was fresh; lettuce, tomato, onion and bun. And there was plenty of bacon and cheese on that burger too — I was blindly smiling with delight as I sped down the road to HeartAttacksVille. The fries were good — I liked them but nothing extraordinary. The salted caramel milkshake was phenomenal. It had a bold caramel flavor and had both giant pretzel sticks and little pretzels which you could dip and eat for the full salty-sweet experience. And yes, they do give you the tin too. After careful deliberation I’d give this Johnny Rockets 3.75 stars.

This Johnny Rockets wasn’t too clean. It felt a little dirty eating here. The seating was a bit uncomfortable. My first time here at Johnny, and I had no idea adding fries meant you’re paying for the unlimited fries. I initially thought my burger came with fries, and to make it unlimited it was an extra $ 2. The waitress did not tell me this, and I had no clue. The Rocket Double did make an impact. It had good flavor; I was impressed and satisfied. However, their Oreo milkshakes was not impressive. It was a bit watery and not very memorable. In conclusion, okay service, good burger, and ehh milkshakes. Maybe another JR may have given me a better experience.

Great burger joint within walking distance to Anaheim Islander Hotel. Stopped in on a weekday afternoon. The strip mall and Johnny Rockets were completely empty; weird but I’m guessing this is a fairly new shopping center. Our party of 10 was warmly greeted and accommodated by pulling tables together etc. The food was great, and one of the employees made balloon animals for the kids without«soft selling» tips(we did anyway). Food, staff, and atmosphere were really good!

My burger is amazing. Place is clean, staff is friendly, AC is nice, and food came out quick. What else can you ask for?

My family & I came here for lunch. I ordered a salad & an orange float! It was delicious! I always find this place adorable & a step back in time. I wish they had one in Hawaii!

Had a great family Sunday lunch. Although it was very small inside. We were seated altogether and waited on. Great customer service. The food and milkshakes were delicious.

At Johnny Rockets and I’m so hungry!!! We’re about to grub! Groupon baby. The Garden Walk still has much to be desired, such as stores, but it’s a cool place to chill.

It wasn’t long from our last review and this place demands a second review with our latest visit. As a reminder from our last disastrous visit, I must state that things now are all a 5 star(as it should be at any Johnny Rockets). We had quick and great service. Our food came out without too much wait and was bursting with extreme flavor. Our server has been kind, patient, and helpful. The diner and utensils were all bright, clean! For bacon lovers, I must recommend the Applewood single or double burger. We will come back. :)

Been to Johnny Rockets plenty of times. Been to this location once. The Route 66 is my favorite, by far. It comes with swiss cheese and mushrooms. YUM! I’m getting hungry just thinking about it haha. Anyway, the fries, shakes, burgers, and sandwiches are all great, but this location is pretty depressing. Also, their employees were all courteous, polite and what not, but were incredibly boring as if they hated their job or didn’t really know how to genuinely engage guests and make them feel comfortable. For their awkwardness I deducted a star. Lastly, they don’t validate parking, which sucks. We ended up paying $ 3 because the first hour is free.

We love johnny rockets… We usually go to the orange block location but decided to try out garden walk. Big mistake! First, the restaurant is all the way in the back surrounded by empty stores. Once we sat the server didn’t acknowledge or greet us for at least 10minutes. Looking around I notice there are only 3 people working; the cook, the shake maker and one server. This was on a Thursday night. Our burgers took average time BUT our kids food never came! The server never came back to check on us… My kids were very dissapointed. Usually we get balloons, shakes, watch the servers dance. To top it off when we tried to get our parking validated the server said they don’t validate! Such a bad experience, we are sure never to come back to this terrible location.

Well, well, well. Johnny Rockets. A place I always loved going to when I was younger for whatever reason and now it’s a pretty mediocre place to be. I occasionally like to come here for a burger and fries but a shake is a must. Their shakes are tasty if you ask me, although I passed on my recent visit. I was kind of in a sappy mood so I should have devoured one. We ended up here recently because my attempt at going to PF Changs to use a gift card failed once again. I figured a Wednesday night would be safe but there was a 45 – 50 minute wait. I figure at this point there is no avoiding a crowd living down here. Maybe if I came at a grandma dinner time like usual due to my work schedule it would have panned out. I had waited until seven. So after hearing that number and walking right back out we ended up hitting Johnny Rockets back in the corner. They were busier than I had ever seen them at this location but there was no wait. We seated ourselves on the bar. I just got an iced tea this round and I ordered the bacon cheddar burger, single patty. My husband ordered the Houston burger. I got a half order of fries and half order of onion rings to add to our meal. Another place that does not serve sides with burgers. I was a little disappointed when I saw that they still had iceburg lettuce at this location despite the pictures showing green lettuce. I had heard that the Orange location had the green lettuce so I figured that it was across the board. Oh well. Other toppings helped that. The burger wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t awesome either. I didn’t expect it to be. Also we noticed that the bacon is pre-cooked as there was a ton of it in a container and some on the grill cooked and set aside. I didn’t notice though until my husband pointed it out. So average place to stop by once in a while. Not bad, not exceptional. I should probably stop in more often for a shake and a side as I love the shakes. On the bright side, this visit did not include the chorus of The Shoop Shoop Song(It’s in His Kiss) stuck on repeat the whole visit. I can still picture that unfortunately.

My friends and I pre-purchased tickets for the new Hunger Games movie. Since we on a bit of a time crunch we decided to have dinner here. You do not want to be hungry while watching The Hunger Games. The restaurant looked a little packed, which is to be expected since the theater was going to be showing a popular movie. There were only 3 people working that day. We were greeted and took a seat and waited to place our order. One of my friends was just getting off work so I was going to order for her too. It took almost 30 minutes to place our order. By the time my friend met up with us, the order was on the table. We had to keep asking for refills and we even got up a few times to get the attention of our server. The burgers were very sub par compared to Ruby’s and don’t really have a lot of flavor. The fries are decent but nothing to write home about.

Came here on a Sunday morning since I was attending an expo right outside and this was the only choice besides Fire&ice. Restaurant is pretty small but with the usual Johnny Rockets fun atmosphere. I ordered the tuna melt and a vanilla shake with malt. The tuna sandwich was a bit too oily, they put enough oil or butter to soak almost the whole bread. The tuna was ok. The shake was good but would have liked a bit more of the malt flavor. You can park in the structure and get an hour free parking. There’s not much around the restaurant and the mall is pretty quiet. Food is just average. Service was quick and friendly.

Ok food, terrible location. Located in the Garden Walk just down the street from Disneyland. Looking for cheap grub in the area, I came upon the Groupon and figured this place was as good as any. The restaurant is in a desolate back section of this rather sad outdoor mall and it took a little effort to find it. Once we arrived the service was great. Friendly, fast and very efficient. The food was nothing to write home about but it was cheap and it did the trick. I don’t see my self coming back as I’m not a huge fan on Johnny Rockets, but if you’re in the area they so have Groupons available pretty regularly so it can be a good deal.
