They have an excellent bulgogi burger. The patty quality isn’t the best, but the bulgogi cancels out the party taste. Part of the uniqueness is that you have to ask for the salt and ketchup. Service could be quicker and the old man who was excellent the last time we were here, has hopefully retired. Since this happened, the quality went down, but it was still pretty good. Would go here next time I was at Disneyland.

Convenient location, near our hotel. Took awhile to get our food. We ordered a mushroom burger and a chicken wrap. The wrap itself greasy, and the contents tasted like it was a stir fry. The mushroom burger was blamed for an unfortunate late night visit to the porcelain bowl. We won’t be returning.

This place is the best you can’t even compare McDonald’s to this place. the mix between American and Korean cuisine although mostly american. Their bulkogi burgers are the best and the restaurant never disappoints.

So came down with one of my hynas to eat at star burger… I said«hey rooka get whatever you want»… She said«ok Papi I want a boorger» I said«hey hyna say it right» to which she replied«ok jus gimme fresh frais with kechoop» I gave up and just ordered a burger combo. It was cool but my rooka is used to better… I don’t like how small the fries where because my rooka is fat and she likes to eat… Basically if you got a fat rooka don’t bring her here Holmes.

Came by after the nearby theme parks closed. My fiancé was in a burger kind of mood and a lil grumpy. He ordered a cheese burger, fry and egg roll. The pictures they have on the wall of their burgers looked good. They had the usual condiments– lettuce, tomato, onion. what he got was a sad looking patty and slice of cheese on a semi-squished bun. He asked about it and the best we can make out was that to get the pictured burger you have to get a combo. It was very difficult to understand the woman behind the counter so he shrugged and left. When we got back to the hotel he sat down to chow down and was disappointed to find that there was only a ketchup packet(presumably for the fries) the burger was bone dry and devoid of any flavor. The fries were ok. and the egg roll edible. But when your restaurant is called Star Burger, your burgers should be the stars. I ended up looking at his receipt. for whatever reason, they had given him a child’s burger. We will never go back. it just wasn’t worth the hassle.

I came here because it was near the Anaheim convention center so I wanted something good without breaking the bank inside the convention. I came in and ordered a bulgogi burger combo. After I ordered I sat down to wait for the food to be ready. Right when I was walking back, I saw a cockroach in the area just crawling around. This was not a small cockroach either, it was a fully grown adult cockroach. Later when I went to eat my sandwich, the patty was very dry and the bulgogi was decent. I don’t think I would eat here again.

Close to our motel, open late and best of all: the burgers and fries were amazing. We will definitely go here every time we are in the area!

What a difference a couple of years makes. I came here back in 2013 for the first time and had the Bulkogi Burger. It was good, service was decent and I gave it a favorable rating. Two years later, the old lady that runs the place is still here, but the old man isn’t. Either he retired or died, but regardless, the food prep took a nose dive. The food is really bland now and the hygiene of the cook, whom you can see from the front register, is questionable. If I die of a strange illness, it will be because of this place. Never again will I visit here.

Table needed cleaning because it was all sticky and icky. Bulkogi burger was okay.

We had a cheeseburger combo. It was one of the thinnest burger patties I’ve ever seen. It was almost like double cheese :( Frys was ok. They also surcharge 50c on credit cards, which I think still is illegal in California.

Went here yesterday for the first time for dinner. Food and service was good. The people was nice and friendly. The place was clean. I had their chicken bowl and I liked it. Cost wise was not that expensive. Overall it was a good place to go eat. I would come here again

Got the #4 bulkogi burger combo. Bring cash if you don’t want to pay the .50 credit card fee. If you’re craving a hamburger or kbbq and don’t have much time, you can kill 2 birds with 1 stone here. It’s good and I’ve never had that combination before.(why didn’t I think of that before) I thought would get a lot of fries and it seems like a small quantity when I got it. Fries were ok. I was full about half way through the fries. I came there late and it’s wasn’t busy. Got a chance to talk to the owner’s sister. She’s very friendly and entertaining. I’ll be back to try other things on the menu.

I give this place 4 star’s just because you have to do a lot for me to give it five. But overall great service and amazing burger! The thousand island sauce they have on the regular one is great! Charboiled so if you like Carl’s jr this is wayyy better! Fries are okay, next time I’m here in anahaim for another convention I’ll try the onion rings they have. The sweet asian man running the register is super helpful, a lil hard to understand but it’s okay, just be specific on what you’re ordering. Great place I would come back next time I’m in the area.

Worst burger joint ever. Should have known when the place was empty and all the places next to it were packed. Food was cold and not good at all. Lesson learned to never eat here again.

I think how I can write such a bad review that fellow Unilocalers would not risk going here. Let me start with the property. The resturant looks from the outside that it should not be good. That was the first warning that I ignored. Second one was the upkeep of the inside. It looked dirty and on some spots it was. #3 was when I ordered combo I was told no fries. When my burger arrived it was paper thin. Thinner than McD or Wendy’s. No great taste either. 50 cent extra charge to use credit card. And to top it off… the old guy that runs this place fell asleep in a chair as I was eating my burger.

If I could give this place no stars, I would! They need to hire or bring in their younger generation family! What made it even more horrible was that I had asked to have an iced tea instead of soda. He filled my cup with coke and iced tea… then straight looks at me. I wanna fly everything I ordered in his face!

The Bulkogiburger was amazing! It is the best burger I tried here and I wouldn’t recommend to try anything else when you go here except maybe the chili burger. The owners(I assume) are really friendly, especially the man. Overall, the Bulkogiburger was really delicious, but it isn’t mouth dropping. There could be many improvements to the burger including more marination of the meat and Bulkogi. But the burger is well done and I would eat here again. Just do not expect high expectations when you go here. By the way, they charge you 50 cents extra if you use card.

Such absolutely high hopes for this idea… Bulgogi cheeseburgers… What isnt to love about this idea? Bulgogi flavored Cheeseburgers or bulgogi meat on a burger patty with bulgogi flavored sauce slathered over it… Que the Jack in the Box commercial with two hot chicks eating something like this with it dripping everywhere. OMG this idea has me in Food Lust… Que the images of FoodPorn racing through my head at a breakneck pace. YUMMY! Que the horror movie as my dreams come crashing down… the burger was about as thin as a white castle slider… the bulgogi wasnt super marinated or flavorful, but when mixed with the cheese was to die for. The bulgogi with cheese oozing through it was an absolutely awesome idea. I can just imagine how this would be with a good burger not a frozen preformed brick and with flavorful bulgogi. The french fries were typical frozen style. You know the standard ones that are out and about at a bunch of places. But the idea of freshly made fries with the updated version of this kinda burger… OMG the food porn running through my mind again… im sorry for showing off some of the inner workings of some of my deepest darkest food secret desires =X This place is here to strictly go after the Disneyland crowd of folks who walk to the park from their hotel or perhaps someone from the Anaheim convention center… It is walking distance from either place and much cheaper than eating in either. However while tasty, it could be one of the best burger joints i have ever been to if they made some changes. Consequently, I was very disappointed that this joint was very average. It could be beyond spectacular. Unfortunately, it wasnt… So try this place as it is worth trying, but dont bring in great expectations, as they cant live up to them.

Was chillin late night around this plaza with some friends, so we decided to try this place out to see what Korean burgers are all about. I ate some of the Bulkogi Burger and Kimchi Burger; both were ok, but were not really uniquely tasting as you might expect. They would have been better if there were more of some kind of distinctive sauces that would help differentiate the burgers from the typical. Service is slow and kind of disorganized.

My son and husband got cheeseburgers. They tell me they are just average. I got the Bulkogi quesadilla. Good quesadilla, lots of meat, cheese and sauce. At least I can say I tried it.
