Having had food from here before, I already had an idea of what was here. I knew they were Filipino-run and made my favorite Filipino dish, sisig. So when the Mrs brought up Crave as a possible lunch destination, our whole family jumped on the idea. It’s in a small plaza setting, and I was told that you don’t follow what the navigation tells you. Instead, stay on Sonoma Blvd and make a left on Crawford. Reading other folks’ posts regarding having a hard time finding this place, it’s probably because of the navigating app they’re using that’s confusing them(maybe). Driving aside, the spot isn’t that big, but maybe it seemed that way because it was packed in there. We were able to snag a table before another wave of folks showed up. Getting there, you notice a menu to the left, and it’s pretty extensive. You can get almost whatever you based on what you feel like(Ramen, Filipino, Burgers, etc.). Their items are very reasonably priced, and take it from me… their portions are rather big! Check my accompanying pix if you don’t believe me. They also make sweet crepes, the menu which is directly behind the cashier. To top all that off, they also do boba and specialty drinks, which I think is the centerpiece of this place. I would probably describe this joint as a very souped-up Quickly or Tapioca Express but with a much more extensive menu. The staff is very pleasant and smiling. Not to sound biased but most Filipino places I’ve been to mostly have workers who look like they don’t want to be there. But at Crave, you can tell that the workers are passionate about their craft and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure your experience there is enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back here to try more of the menu. I highly recommend this place!!!

Delicious fries. Service is great. Loved the Thai tea with boba. Will come back again and again. A little hidden but so worth the find. They also do catering!

I tried the chicken sisig tacos and the sour calamansi boba. The tacos were really tasty and I also loved how they had a little kick in them. I already love calamansi so I knew I was going to like it! Looking forward to try more.

I always thought I had to go to Señor Sisig for the sisig fries. That was until I stumbled upon Crave while trying to cure a craving on Unilocal! Now I’ve found my fix and I don’t have to cross 2 bridges. OMG, the sisig fries, the adobo garlic rice plate and the combo garlic noodles are to die for! I ordered all this for one. Not to mention I had the peach frost tea with lychee jellies that I drank and finished while waiting for the food! OMG! This place is delicious, clean and great customer service! I’m so glad this is so close to home! Will definitely be back!

Location– Maybe hard to find if you’re not familiar with American Canyon considering the fact that every building in the plaza looks the same you just have to find the restaurant name… other than that. There is a lot of food on the menu and every time I come back in they add more food… I recently saw ramen added on to the menu you just have to read everything in the restaurant to really see what they have now. I always come in wanting chicken sisig tacos and order of sisig fries for my boyfriend. I had an excellent service from Ari which was cashier this afternoon. Very helpful, polite, and quick. I love service where they’re very patient with my order considering busy days like today I was able to get my food fast to. I am a returning customer!

Went to lunch with a friend at CRAVE today for the first time. Small café. Clean. The people in line in front and behind us were both there for the first time as well. The cashier was very nice and explained any questions asked in a very patient and thorough manner. It took a while to order. The cashier was making drinks by the time I was up to order. She was replaced by a very delightful older man who was trying to punch my order into the computer. Obviously not too familiar with the machine, I showed him buttons to push for what I was requesting. Honestly I think he should be trained for the position ! He was so cheerful and I enjoyed him waiting on me. Food came out very sporadic and not necessarily the way it was ordered. Names were called out from a little counter that read«pick up». It would have been nice for them to take the extra 2 steps to our tables. My order took 25 minutes and my friends came out in 15. Food: water in dispenser was self serve and tasted icky. I had a water bottle in my purse so I drank it instead . My order was sisig tacos and Mac and cheese. My friend ordered surf and turf garlic noodles and the KFC wings(Korean fried chicken) my food was good but nothing exciting. The garlic noodles had small shrimp and very small pieces of beef. I think she asked for 2 sides of sauce because they very kinda dry. We both really enjoyed the wings. They were very nice and sauce was very tasty. I’m not sure I’ll be «craving«to go here again, but I may go back to try a burger? Nice concept and menu …

Took me a while to review this place and I gave it a few tries. The items are decently priced. I’ve tried the surf and turf garlic noodles, which has very few shrimp pieces to it. For the garlic noodles, I’d suggest opting for the beef garlic noodles. You’ll save like $ 2. My boyfriend always gets the sisig fries and it never disappoints! Probably the most signature item on their menu. The drinks are also decently priced but aren’t too great. The flavor selection is so-so, depending on the person making them. Considering how there aren’t many other boba joints, they’re pretty smart about having one in AmCan. I’m sure if they had this business in LA, they’d be doing pretty good with the food, the drinks? Not so much. Either way I’ll be supporting local business :)

We’ve eaten here several times since they opened last year. The Sisig fries are what I keep coming back for. The kimchi fries and adobo fries are also good. You can get hot drinks, bubble teas, and shakes too. There are several tables and also outdoor seating.

Their menu selection looks really appetizing! I only had the luxury of trying 2 items, the beef garlic noodle and the KFC, Korean Fried Chicken. The beef garlic noodles were fantastic. Several people sampled them and had the same sentiment. The KFC was okay, but a bit too saucy for me. I use Bön Chon as the KFC standard, and Bön Chon is much tastier, in my opinion. My kids had Boba drinks and thought they were just okay. In San Jose, they’ve run the gamut of tea shops from Pekoe to TPumps to Gong Cha, and Crave’s drinks ranked as «just okay.» They both said the boba was a little rubbery. My wife tried the hot taro tea and liked it. I’m a fan of this place, but it’s too far from us to frequent and try the other dishes. I’ve attended a party they catered and I loved their catered dishes, so I’m going with 4 stars. I’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in American Canyon.

After hearing about this place from my friends, I decided to give it a try. It’s located in a small little café with plenty of parking, but it may be a bit hard to spot on your first trip there. They have a rather unique menu including asian fusion dishes and some milk teas, so it is definitely a much welcomed option for food in the area. I tried their chicken garlic noodles, and I have to say that while the garlic flavor was nice, the noodles were WAYTOOGREASY. I literally used 5 napkins to un-grease it, soaking it in the bowl of oil and tossing the napkins out after it was fully saturated with grease. I tried eating it as is, but started feeling unwell because of the sheer amount of oil. My friend ordered the sisig fries, which were quite good though. The chunks of meat topping the fries were quite flavorful, and the green onions complemented the fries, cheese, and meat well. Sadly they ran out of matcha on the day I visited, but I tried their oolong milk tea. It was pretty good, but a little watered down in terms of tea flavor. My friend got the thai tea which was a little watered down as well. The boba he got was rather poorly cooked as well unfortunately. Perhaps it was just an off day for their drinks. Overall, the food was okay and I definitely plan to return to try some of the other options(or maybe go safe with the sisig fries). I also look forward to giving their drinks another try, perhaps when they get more matcha!

Tried giving this place one more chance after being disappointed my last visit, I bought sisig fries before getting a haircut. I ate about a quarter of it until my haircut appointment. When I got home, I preheated the oven I just waited. As I was waiting, I was looking at the meat and I see a price of meat that looked odd. I picked it up and I realiz have that piece of «meat» had legs. I realize that there was a bug in my fries. Never again.

Crave catered boba at my school’s senior banquet and it was a hit! Every guest at the event was able to get a 16 oz cup, choose from 3 flavors of teas, and between jellies, reg boba, and popping boba. It was a bit pricey, but the ladies who worked the boba station were extremely friendly and stayed during the whole event! If you’re having a party with guests who love boba, you need to check out Crave!

Love the garlic noodles! The calamari and cheese steak my family also ordered were OK, but the garlic noodles with chicken were amazing!

I wanted to see what all the hype was about with the sisig fries. They were good, but not anything I would go back for nor hype it up. The service was mediocre as well, the employee working that day did not come to the register or acknowledge the people standing in line for awhile, nor did she seem happy about being there. It’s great that this place does have a lot of dessert and food items to choose from.

This is a very cute café within a plaza with PLENTY of parking! We were intrigued by the menu and wanted to come here, especially since Vallejo has limited selections of Asian food. The food was absolutely delicious! We ended up ordering the kimchi fried rice, sisig fries, sisig tacos, chicken tacos, chicken wings, and kimchi tacos. I must say the fusion of Korean, Filipino, and Vietnamese ingredients for the tacos was genius! The flavoring of the meat was on point and reflected each cuisine very well! The daikons and carrots added to the tacos balanced the tacos very well. Their kimchi flavor was very good and the taste definitely reflected how much preparation there was to make the food. Portion wise? So much food! You get 4 tacos for $ 5! What a steal! It may look small but boy the flavors are so packed with every bite and you WILL be full! The staff is so friendly and welcoming! A great area to come for lunch and dinner. The place is a bit small so a large group greater than 10 might not be the best but definitely recommend it for small groups. In addition, they have milk tea and shaved snow!!! The Ube coconut milk was delicious! Instead of boba, they have sago that is the size of boba. what? I never knew that existed! What a great concept to use and it definitely stands out from typical milk teas that I have tried. We also tried the shaved snow which is pretty cheap, only $ 5. They come with many flavorings and toppings. Definitely recommend coming here. A cheap meal where you can sit comfortably and enjoy it with good company :)

Back again for another go! Just got off the plane and the road and here I am finally sitting down at a table eating a tasty square meal of Filipino sisig fried rice AND sisig tacos. FYI sisig is diced sautéed pork belly. Very flavorful. Anywho, it was good. Now for a good nights rest, race day tomorrow then onto Daytona! The good eats and fun never stop! Next time I’ll try the boba, looks good!

We went to this place when we stayed at the Meritage Hotel Resort and Spa last May, and it was not bad at all. Always go with an open-mind when you try things or go places, because you never know what is gonna happen(and that is where your adventures begin!) and this is what happened… we stumbled upon this petite restaurant. More for teens because of the pearl tea selections and bowl-typed foods, but the actual food itself I will give four stars. The reason for three stars is the ambiance, customer service, and just overall feel as you come inside the place. Otherwise, place to go to when hungry! Choice-adobo over rice… add sisig fries to kick things up a notch!!!
