This restaurant is horrible. We’ve been here almost an hour and we still don’t have food. There is trash everywhere. On the floor, on the other tables. I asked if they had a kids menu and was told no. Then I saw two kids menus layout big on the floor and our server kept serving other tables kids cups. When I asked her why she told me there was no kids menu she said she didn’t know. BTW, we are still here, and still no food(but still lots of dirty tables). Awful, just awful.

Pizza there is delicious. I love the fact that it’s rectangular reminds me of the way we grew up and made pizza in my family. I enjoy going in the daytime because the way the sun hits the windows it’s super warm in there. Everything else on the menu is good but if I’m gonna get anything other than a pizza you better believe I’m sticking to the calzone.

Some of the best pizza around! The is the old school, square pan, thin crust pizza. Excellent pizza. They have wings too… JUMBOWINGS. Yes, everyone says their wings are«jumbo» but seriously these are the biggest wings I’ve seen in the area. I go to Happy Hours all around the DC metro area and try different wings. Ledo’s are seriously one of the larger wings I’ve seen. This place should be packed just because of their wings. They also have specials on Facebook for most days. Some days it’s buy one salad get one free, probably my favorite. Thanks Ledos, love your food!

I really love this place. It’s within walking distance of my apartment. I have only had the pizzas and the spaghetti, but it’s fantastic. They have a lot of good menu choices and the staff is great.

The franchise should be revoked. The pizza was awful… meat not cooked, etc.

Customer service is horrible; I once had a employee refuse to tell me what toppings they have. She said«alot of toppings». I then said can you tell me those alot of toppings so I may have them placed on my pizza, yet again she said we have«alot of toppings». I had to hang up the phone snd go in there directly to speak to this«alot of toppings» employees face to face. She said she did not want to tell me the toppings, because she had another customer in line. I said I am a customer as well just because Im not in person does not make me less of a customer than some standing in line. Thankfully the manager was there And discounted my meal. I was still pissed that I had to come in there to handle it, definitely since I asked for the manager and she said he was not there, then I ask to speak w/someone that makes more than her and she refuse as well Update. Called today to place an order, took a long time to answer the call. Once someone did, I was then placed on hold then hung up on. Called back placed on hold for 7 mins; finally called back again and got a chance to place my order. BOTTOMLINEUPFRONT(BLUF): Order from Paisanos up the street.

Vastly improved under new management. Better service and cleaner. Try the canon ball pizza, and a raspberry soda with basil. Glad we tried it again.

If you’re looking for a place on and/or close to Route 1 in Alexandria, VA. Ledo’s is a good option. Although the service can be spotty(been here several times) you eventually get what you ordered at a decent price. The only thing you have to be mindful about this location it appears to draw large parties of families and kids. I went last Friday night and left right when what looked like a bus of middle school kids and adults appeared. I don’t fault the restaurant for this it is just something to keep in mind if you’re feeling more peace and quiet for dinner.

Called in order, showed up on time and order had been given to someone else. «They are bringing your pizza back». Um, I think I’ll take a new one? Charged us for the whole original order, for which 2 hungry kids & I are still awaiting– now 45 min after it was to be ready. To-go pizza made into a debacle.

It’s a Ledo’s, nothing special there. It can be a five or it can be a two depending on the night they are having and the server you get. We used to get the same server all the time and she was great. I haven’t seen her in a while and some of the servers are still good but others are less so. The food is usually what you would expect from a Ledo’s and it’s a great value.

Two times now, the service has been so slow and horrible that I told myself«I’m never going back!». I think I’ve been a total of ~5 times in the last 2 years. Some points that I remember are: It took them over a year to get the bar opened. Now, I don’t know what the story is behind that, but from the rest of my comments — I’m going to assume the delay was a majority of Ledo’s fault. The food isn’t half bad, but not great. The pizzas are perfectly fine, thin and cut into squares. If you’re dying for ‘awesome pizza’, Ledo’s isn’t going to hit that mark. If you’re dying for ‘decent pizza’, you’ll be set — although the ~$ 20 price tag is a bit obscene. First major complaint was on our second time there. Waiter was horrible, inexperienced, slow, inefficient and just not the type of person that should be waiting tables. Not only was the food extremely delayed, he completely forgot to put someone’s order in… so all our food came out — and she has nothing. There was no apology, not even admitting it was his fault. Simply«oh, I’ll put that in». Great service buddy! I went 2 more times over the following year, nothing of note was bad. Was a decent place to go to. Then I took a group of friends(6 total in the party). There were 5 tables occupied, one of them also a group of 6 with 2 children. There were 2 tables with a complete mess on them that had not been cleaned up yet.(I can’t really judge this when I walk in, as those people could have just walked out). We sit down(self seating), and our best guess is it took 12 minutes to even be acknowledged.(We judged this based upon text messages sent out right when we arrives). In that time, 2 other couples had finished and left, 1 had it’s food delivered, and the other 2 tables looked to be wrapping up as well. The waiter finally comes over, and apologizes for taking so long. No big deal. We place our drink orders. 2 ‘specialty’ drinks(some sort of mix with fruit in it), 1 coke, 1 sweet tea, 1 tea, 1 water. Why would this guy memorize the drinks of his party you may ask? Because it took 15MORE minutes to get the drinks. We’ve now invested roughly 30 minutes, and we haven’t even placed our order yet! He drops off the drinks, and takes our order. Oh, I have these memorized too, but I won’t go into details. 6 entrees and 1 appetizer. THIRTYMINUTESLATER, we’re the only people in the place, drinks are empty, no food on the table, not another interaction with our waiter… Where is our food? It’s now been an hour. The frustration had boiled over. We left 15 on the table for the drinks, went to the front(where people pick up pizzas) and stated our case(we already made the decision to leave). Said we’re leaving, cancel the food. etc. The manager came over(who I hadn’t seen until now). He looked through the window and said the food would be up in ‘a few minutes’. Sorry Pal, we’re gone. We went to Moe’s across the street, and had our food within 10 minutes of leaving. 2⁄5 horrible experiences is enough for me to start to veto Ledo’s from now on. From my point of view, the waiter was inexperienced and needs to be trained better. The waitress that was there(yes, there was 2 servers), when we flagged her down asking if we could order drinks said«Oh, he’ll be right with you», then proceeded to clean a table off… rude and also inexperienced. The manager, useless for not knowing what was going on in his restaurant, and not seeming to care that a group of 6 is walking out. Just stay away, go to pretty much any other restaurant within a 2 mile radius, and I can almost guarantee you’ll have a better experience.

They have a unique type of pizza which you’ll either hate or enjoy. It is a rectangular shape(aka not all pieces have a crust), a thin almost cracker crust, and a sauce that is sweeter than most pizzas. It’s not your«normal» pizza but is hot, tasty, and an enjoyable change from the usual generic chain pizza. They also have pasta, sandwiches, etc. but I stuck with the pizza. The service was friendly but a little slow and the place was nearly empty on a Sunday afternoon other than a couple people in the bar watching the Redskins lose yet again. I hadn’t planned to stop here but was running errands with my wife and figured I’d stop in for a pizza. I wouldn’t make a special trip but enjoyed my lunch and would return if I were in the area.

Pizza here is totally inedible and disgusting. The bread is like matzo — crunchy, flat, and has no taste. The meatball topping, I don’t know what it is, it’s not meatball. It was more ilke bits of ground beef. Sauce is terrible. The provolone cheese is just wrong. It’s an insult to pizza to call this a pizza. I felt sick after eating here.

First time sit down at this Ledos. Seems like a great little place for kids as it had a few young families. Pizza was good but a bit pricey. Ice cold Sam was cheap The waitress was a bit shy but sweet overall.

Lately when I get pizza from chains like Papa Johns, Dominoes, and even a few restaurants like Primo’s and Southside I’ve noticed that they are stingy with the cheese — on the outer edge of the pizza about an inch before the crust there is just tomato sauce and if you’re lucky there’s a tad bit of cheese, but not enough to conceal the crust. The reason why I bring this up is because Ledo Pizza DOESNOT do this. Ledo Pizza gives plenty of cheese all the way to the crust and has consistent toppings through out the pizza and does this at a reasonable price. I have seen a few hiccups with the service here but it wasn’t so bad that I’d not come back again. Side note: I have been with people who thought the tomato sauce was too sweet.

I went there for a fresh light lunch and ordered their«Skinny Avocado & Chopped Chicken Salad» and a pink lemonade. To be honest I was disappointed. There were too many things to taste in this dish and they didn’t go together very well. As for the pink lemonade, it was a tad too sweet for me. The place has a classic old-fashioned diner-like style. It has parking lots right in front of it, TVs inside, and free wi-fi(you have to ask for the password). I don’t feel like going there again.

This is an update to my previous Ledo’s review. I wish I had a better review. At first, Ledo’s was really great. There were some things that seemed«off»(like the«half baked» pizza I mentioned in my previous review), but we chalked it up to being a new restaurant, and were happy with our Ledo’s pizza. The quality started slipping about a year ago: we noticed the pizza boxes weren’t branded as Ledo’s anymore. Then the pepperonis were different(instead of the thick, round pepperonis we all know and love, they used pieces of salami, cut into quarters). Then they changed the sauce from the delicious Ledo sauce to what tasted like canned tomato sauce. This is when we had to stop ordering from Ledo’s. Papa John’s makes better pizza than the fake Ledo’s stuff we were eating(and paying a premium for). On the upside, my parents are happy because I visit them more so that we can go to a good Ledo’s.

The only thing stopping this from 5 stars is the price. 2 large pizzas run you over 40 dollars, and while they are large that is unacceptable. The good part is the quality ingredients. The cheese, toppings, etc are all top notch. Sometimes there are almost too many toppings on menu items like the supreme pizza. Overall, worth it for a pizza splurge.

Almost five years a Washingtonian and I had never been here, which is odd considering they sponsor WTOP sports. So, we stopped by this new location to see what the fuss was about. Ledo was AMAZING. I dug the pie-like flaky crust, sauce and cheese. The square pizza in cookie trays reminded me of a combination of Cassano’s pizza(one of my favorites from childhood in Sidney, Ohio) and Rossino’s St. Louis style-pizza. While I wish they delivered, I will DEFINITELY go back. The wings were great too.
