Pretty run of the mill sports bar. Went in there during the day so it was pretty dead. Would have gotten another star but the waitress charged me an extra .99 cents for a side of ranch for my fries. I mean, really? You’re going to charge me for that? Not cool at all.

Nice pub which is typical of chain restaurants however this one seemed to stand out compared to the others, e owner was on hand pouring fresh crisp pints at 1pm, he was very warm and eager to learn about anything you wished to talk about. He recommended the chicken wings as I was really only there to break up my travel back from Toronto. I ordered hot wings which came out just OK but in all realty it’d hard to stuff up wings right! The décor was super clean and very welcoming, staff all seemed very happy to be there which creates as great vibe for a single person in for fora quick pint and feed. Pros — menu selection, owner super nice Cons — Chicken wings were not sauced enough, staff arguing with a friend and wait time for a beer

I had an amazing sirloin steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables. It was just fantastic. However, for desert I had funnel cake fries and they tasted bland and quite gross. I do like the interior of the restaurant, and the staff are nice, but the restaurant is fairly noisy. I will be coming back eventually, but I won’t be buying dessert.

Kelsey’s seems like a staple in the sleepy town of Woodstock. We ordered a number of things, some were great some were so-so. The garlic bread came with more cheese than garlic –and who puts cheese on garlic bread anyway??? Wished we knew that prior to ordering. The potato skins were quite tasty and made to order. The broccoli-cheese soup was standard, which is good because that means it was tasty also! Their classic burgers are also good. We all ordered Canadian beer, plain and simple and hit the spot.
