We were here about 5:30 pm on a Friday night, just before it got busy and before we left for our play in Stratford. Our waitress, Tammy, was friendly, very helpful, got everything right and got us out in time. My husband and I shared an 11 oz sirloin, a small add-​on of BBQ ribs with Montana’s Texas Bold sauce, a baked potato and a side salad. The steak was flavorful and cooked as we ordered. Ribs weren’t as meaty as we’ve had elsewhere, but the sauce really was bold without being too spicy. We shared the mini Strawberry Rhubarb Cobbler that was served warm with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream, really a tasty and petite dessert. Our bill, with a beer for him and a glass of house wine for me came to $ 53. We’ve found better steakhouses in our travels but the atmosphere here is unique and the staff is friendly.

The food is great, I especially love the chicken wings. I love how cozy the interior is. However, the last time I was at Montana’s I ordered a skillet cookie and I found a hair in it. I told the waitress and she told me that she couldn’t take the cookie off of my bill, she could only get me a new one. I was quite mad because I didn’t want another one of those cookies, I had lost my appetite. So I ended up paying an outrageously large amount of money for a cookie I barely are due to there being a hair in it.

I like Montana’s a lot — I think they have a great menu and reasonable prices.
The pulled pork nachos are to die for, especially at this location. They seem expensive but they put a TON of toppings on.
I’ve always relieved great service as well.

The Woodstock, Ontario location served me, quite possibly, the best bacon cheeseburger I’ve ever had. Smothered with bacon, cheese and their applebutter bbq sauce, this burger will not disappoint.

Amber is an excellent waitress always had good service here! Came home and checked my calorie intake and I shoulda opted for something instead of the chipotle firecracker burger but damn it was yummy

We were a party of 5 people here today, and got here a little early for lunch. It was quiet, since it was not yet noon, but it filled up fast and was busy by the time we were done.
I find that Montana’s is pretty much the same wherever you go. The food was good, the service was good; maybe I would really say this place is really a 3.5 stars because although it is always consistent, it is also always a little on the pricy side. The wait staff always appears to me to be very young, comnpared to other restaurants. Three of us had salads — one was a cob salad, and the other two were the apple one with spicy nuts and cranberries on top. All were very good.
The price range is close to Milestones, which I like a little better, if you are looking for a place to celebrate special events. Having said that, I like this restaurant enough that I will probably eventually be back.
