First time visit & we did take out. Take out food generally looses something in the journey. Given that this dinner was fantastic, I can’t wait to dine in! The appearance is a classic«diner», so come as you are. There’s a small breakfast bar where we waited for our food, which came before I finished my beer. The menu has breakfast, lunch & dinner items, we were there for dinner. But I would love to try breakfast. The waitstaff is friendly, efficient & available. Again, I am looking forward to eating in. For 4 adults, we got a variety of dishes and tried a little of each(Menu Items were numbered) — there is no take out(nor online) menu so entrée names are absent: Appiteaser: #100 Large(4 pc) Spring Rolls were fantastic, fresh ingredients that were crisp and the seafood was tasty. Also picked a 4pc(fried) coconut-shrimp roll that might have gotten misordered as the roll we got was shrimp, but we didn’t see/taste any coconut — it was tasty & enjoyable. Entrees: 309c Phở Bin Chicken & Beef Phở Bin soup was delightful, absolutely wonderful. it is packaged in its components so the broth can easily be reheated(if needed). 802c Cashew chicken, great implementation of a classic dish… 809c: Chicken rice noodle with tangy/spicy sauce(we have a high tolerance for spice, this wasn’t very spicy, but delicious) ??? «birds nest» crispy noodles, seafood & sauce, dubbed«birds nest» by us as the noodles surrounded the dish to keep them clear of the sauce(e.g. crisp). We did not find any of the dishes salty, the seafood was all fresh(not«fishy») and the vegetables still had«crisp» in them, not limp and lifeless.

This is quite the mix of food. You can get American/Canadian foods such as burgers or breakfast or you can opt for the Vietnamese cuisine which is quite good! The name is quite deceiving, but the food is awesome!

Other patrons in the place were crazy friendly, they were asking if it was my first time and they were telling me how amazing the place is, two seperate tables said it’s the best tasting food in town. I had two awesome very large cold veggie rolls and the beef and chicken phở and a plate with bean sprouts and cilantro, all for about $ 15 after tax, and I was full!!! I was telling the very nice waitress how I found the restaurant using Unilocal, and because she didn’t know about the app I was telling her all about it and she asked me to help her install it on her phone. After which she decided not to charge me for my green tea. I will definitely be back I want to try everything on their menu now!

You know something? These little gems in the back of beyond where you’d never expect to find them are such a pleasure! We were hungry in the early afternoon on Saturday, and decided to give this place a try since we were right there anyway. My DH really likes PHO. Our youngest grandson really likes pancakes. And this Mama really likes stir fry at a very affordable price! Grampa got beef stir fry($ 6); I got chicken stir fry(also $ 6) and a pot of green tea(couple of bucks); and the DG felt like a pancake which he hoovered faster than you can say«YUMMY». He must have been hungry! Then we found out that he actually really likes cooked brocolli, and stir fry beef and chicken, and other veggies. Must be good if a 9 year old is eating it! We licked the patterns of the plates. Really really tasty, and very very affordable. We will definitely return. The menu is varied, Canadian and Thai food. Staff is friendly. The restaurant is sort of diner style, not very unique — aside from the mural(I’ll try to remember to upload the photo I took of that). Sorry — forgot to photograph the food! Too busy eating it. One of the other patrons was saying that these people took over from the previous owners last year or 2 ago, and that they now offer the best fish ‘n chips in town. I guess we now know what to get next time we roll into town…
