Not bad for a place I didn’t give a chance, until my gal pal recommended this local to me. I went in for shellac nails. The removal of old shellac was $ 5 if I remember correctly. On Thursday they have $ 28 shellac deals. To do French they charge an extra $ 10. I loved the work Amy did! ASKFORAMY. The shellac form and look lasted almost four whole weeks! I’d go back again for sure(to Amy). I’m not sure how the other staff does their work.

I was a walk-in client and had a mani/pedi with gel polish. The staff were kind and professional and did a good job. I will definitely go back.

I got my nail done in here, but it was really bad. I got the manicure shellac. The nail tech was not really professional. She did not paint my nails full of it, still miss some part in the side. Moreover, painting was not rounded the cuticle. Never comeback.

I went there a few times and the ladies are not very friendly, not even polite. I also called in advance to book an appointment and by the time I got there they said they didn’t have me in their books. Even worse, they didn’t try to accommodate me at all. It seems like they don’t care about their customers.

I was a walk-in for a gel polish manicure and needed an old gel polish removed. The salon is a little run down, but great value for money. They do charge $ 5 to remove old gel polish, but they do it carefully(I’ve been to Katie’s Nails on Keefer Street and had old shellac removed by the tool used to shape acrylic nails!) The girl that did my nails was friendly, paid great attention to detail and left me with the best gel polish manicure I have had in a long time. I will definitely go back!

Decided to go here for a spa mani-pedi combo after seeing across-the-board 5-star reviews on Unilocal. The staff were fairly decent, no one was unfriendly or anything but it wasn’t outstanding by any means. The young lady who helped me was gentle and sweet and obviously meant well, but the whole thing took over 2 hours, which seemed extreme considering there were 4 staff on hand and never more than 3 of us being serviced at the same time. The massage chair I was seated in for the length of the pedi stopped working after a couple of minutes,(so I don’t really see any benefit of paying extra for the ‘spa’ service.) Meanwhile, 2 or 3 of the staff sat at a table eating their lunch in front of me and chatting loudly, which I found a bit unprofessional.(It was a Friday afternoon) Finally, after my manicure, the person who was helping me told me it needed 10 minutes to dry and then proceeded to take off into the back somewhere. 30 minutes went by; I finally flagged down another staff member to tell them I had to get going. After 15% tip my total was $ 60. I don’t think I’ll return. I’m sure for that much I can find somewhere more professional and with more efficient, friendly service in the city. Overall disappointed. p. s. My pinky fingers started to chip after 3 – 4 days.

Amy is amazing and very thorough with het work. I went to see her to remove and put on a fresh gel nails. She takes her time to remove the existing gel and does her job efficiently. Her recommendations for color combination are great. She’s very friendly and never waste a moment, the whole process is done in 70min! I would definitely go see Amy again. The salon is clea and organized. The use of LED instead of UV to cure the gels is a big bonus. They also take walk-ins as there are 4+ technicians available during busy after work hours. April has a promo $ 28 for gel nails.

I’ve been to this place quite a while ago, but had a great impression. I did my first ever gel nails, they turned out good, but not great(tiny little bubble on my pinky had been irritating me for the two weeks that I had it). Other than that — good service, nice atmosphere, comfy massage chairs, no particular concerns about sanitary of the place. The only thing — even though I had made an appointment I still had to wait for about 10 – 15 minutes, but hopefully it’s not a usual thing… Will check soon;-)

Some days, I look down at my nails in yoga or typing and sometimes visualize that a little pizzaz or a little sparkle would make my nails a little more awesome. I recently stumbled across this place as I was thinking of heading back to North Vancouver to get my nails done at my usual place, but this happened to be along the way so I walked in. They had a special for gel manicures for $ 28, so I went in and decided to get it done. The girls really did a great job and my gel mani is going on strong for 2 weeks+! They have daily specials and once you spend $ 50+ you automatically become VIP. This place is conveniently located near the Cambie/VGH area, so if you want to pamper yourself at lunch, this is the place to check out!

Thrilled that Amy & Lily have opened their own salon! The quality of service is unparalleled. I even followed Amy to Richmond for my colour-gel manicure when she was there for a short period. Quality service is hard to find, especially when there is so much competition. HIGHLYRECOMMEND!

Great price for a long mani-pedi and massage. Friendly staff and great service. They also gave me a punch card where after certain number of visits I get one for free and every time I present it I will get 10% off.
