I’m not very mechanical so I took my bike in for a tuneup. Like I expected they’re pretty passionate people there, and they had a few recommendations(new cables). They also found something else that could use replacing(can’t remember what) but they called me to confirm, and gave me the price before doing it, which I really appreciated. When I picked up the bike I happened to meet that owner, ken, he was working the till. What a cool guy. You get the sense that’s he’s living his dream, but is still passionate about helping his customers. A good guy, good businessman.

I love going into Lynn Valley Vitamin House and talking with the owner Leslie. She truly wants you to be healthier and happier. She is very knowledgeable about the products she sells and will even let you try her homemade healthy gluten free crackers. I felt so good after visiting her shop I went across the street and bought my wife some nice flowers at Posy. Which, if I continue to do, I might be able to buy myself a new bike next door at Lynn Valley Bikes. Please don’t tell my wife that I am looking at another bike. She doesn’t understand the three bikes in the garage thing.

A very friendly and knowledgeable shop assistant had an answer to most of my questions. I didn’t find exactly what I was looking for but I was impressed with the variety in such a small shop. They’ve also got a room in the back for small meetings and a private room that might be converted for massage or Reiky therapy or something of that nature. Someone in that industry should definitely hook up with the owner, they seem really open and nice. The location is great, right across from the library and Yoga place.
