[Following review is rated«R» for coarse language] Admittedly going all organic, veg, fancy location, being hipster and whatnot is so this decade. But so is being frugal and there is a price threshold to satisfaction. Yep, taste might be the hype –I’ll let the others describe that in elaborate prose– so what. $ 12.50 for a measly wrap? Seriously? WT fuck?!? I thought things were meant to get better since Frodo dumped that ring in Mordor. Obviously market forces at play, but, damn you, Frodo!

Great vego/vegan options, delicious food and lovely service! We sat at the bar next to the kitchen, it was great seeing the quality produce being used and friendly kitchen staff. Can’t wait to come back.

Have been to this place twice over the past few months, and both were pretty good experiences. The food is good, the coffee is pretty decent and they’re a really friendly bunch of people. They have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options and of course everything is organic. I’m nowhere close to being a vegetarian, but I always feel good eating at this place. Like I’m being really healthy :)

Super healthy, intriguing food with table service! A bit of a hit or miss, however. We had mint green tea, the green coconut watercress milkshake, and their two kinds of bruschettas — mushroom with quinoa & feta, as well as avocado & tomato. The mushroom with quinoa & feta was surprisingly far better — flavorful & appetizing. You can tell the tomatoes on the avocado & tomato bruschetta was organic — very sweet, refreshing taste but a little bland without the tomato. The milkshake was only OK, I would not order it again. The mint green tea came as fresh tea leaves with a strainer — nice. Seating indoors is a little cramped but they make a homey feel out of cushioned booth seating and there are 2 levels of seating inside. Outdoor sidewalk seating is also available.

Only stopped to get takeaway, but this café seemed to have a good vibe coming from the seated areas inside and out. It was really busy though, but still had an inviting feel. The glass cabinet out the front full of bright and colourful salads and sweet things was full of variety but unfortunately, pretty pricey for not a huge amount of food. It’s great they have options for vegans(somewhat) and vegetarians, but I really wasn’t too fond of the high prices for such small portions! — but, that’s not to say I won’t be coming back.(When I’m feeling wealthy)

Everything you should want from a café: small, cozy and warm, super friendly staff, beautiful food that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Their coffee is excellent and I had the omelette with goats cheese, that was creamy and filling. Would definitely go back.

This place is one of my favorite cafés I have ever been to! The food is not only amazing but made of fresh, healthy ingredients. I highly recommend the Acai purple berry smoothie and also their smoked salmon omelette is to die for! The staff is also very nice and you can tell they genuinely enjoy working here. Plus they have free wifi for guests which makes it perfect for an early morning tea. I’ve been coming for a week now because I’m staying close to here on holiday and I’m so thankful I found this place!

O-yeah, baby. This place has quickly become a favourite of mine. This is the kind of food that makes me happy. Their rainbow salad selection is the bomb and best of all, it’s all ready for me to take-away at 8:00am on my walk to work. The cooked brunches are also the shiz; full with veggies, legumes and general orgasmic-organic-goodness. I often find myself food browsing, wanting to buy something ‘for later’, like one of their spelt muffins or a packet of coconut flour to bake with. Raw ‘confections’ always seduce me, too. 5 stars for The Big O.

This place really impressed me. I’m not normally one to go for a bacon & egg roll however i was extremely hung over & the menu made it appealing. The bacon & egg roll was just amazing. Beautifully cooked bacon that wasn’t greasy and fatty. A side of avocado and Meredith goats curd to top it off. Even got a fresh juice with Super greens added. This breakfast was a miracle hangover cure. Guess Organic really does make a difference.

O — My — God! This place is the bomb! All is all it encompasses everything you could want in a café. Decent coffee(an organic toby’s estate fair trade blend) — delicious food(most of it with more that 97% organic ingredients) and adequate seating. Nice to grab a spot on Crown St and engage in a lil people watching. I have been back two days in a row and can highly recommend the tofu scramble, sautéed mushroom bruschetta with fetta a rocket and the spiced chicken salad. If you love a little organic in your life and want to eat somewhere where the staff are passionate about their product– this is the place!

This place is usually crowded so it’s good to come early if you want to sit. The food and the coffee are great so it’s worth the wait.

It’s really freakin’(sorry Mum) hard to find good organic food in Sydney without selling a kidney. Kind of goes against the whole point of eating healthy. I digress. Organic Produce delivers great food at really affordable prices. The service can be hit and miss, but I won’t hold it against them. Go for the food, if you’re a health nut, you won’t regret it.

I went back to O Café for lunch today and I had a soup that I just have to rave about. Being ill with a cold on a rainy day was a terrible combination. But I went here and was recommended by my very nice waitress a lentil soup with Moroccan spiced lamb, pumpkin, and coriander. I couldn’t have asked for anything more appropriate. The soup also comes in a vegetarian version, too, for those who don’t eat meat. Well, besides the freshly juiced beetroot, celery, ginger, and lemon smoothie I also ordered.

Sometimes when you order organic porridge, you think it may taste good, but look unappetising. Like me, you’d be wrong, it looked very fancy for organic! T’was tasty and fresh with a nice layer of banana’s and strawberries to boot. This place is an organic foods retailer with a kitchen that services the take-away business and café with inside seating, it’s cosy, and the staff are mostly friendly. Some weekend days when the store gets really busy, you get the feeling the staff are a bit overwhelmed by the amount of customers. They only use ingredients based on seasonal availability and are very conscious of their impact, so the coffee is all organic free trade coffee and certified with gluten free meal options.

If you’re diet conscious but not necessarily budget conscious, this is the place for you. And if you’re in the mood for a gastronomical sensation you have definitely got to try the moroccan lamb soup at this place. I normally tire of having the same dish every time I go to a venue, but here I inevitably land up ordering this fantastic dish again. And again. Organix is popular. You’re lucky if you manage to claim one of the few outside tables which are literally on the pavement. If you do, you’re in for a people watching treat as watch the world go by in happening Surry Hills. There are all sorts of options for the health conscious. Delicious wraps, salads, quiches… all fresh and made with love. They’re not precious about the health thing though and are happy to serve up large full cream milk coffees and other decadent delights. All organic of course! A great lunch venue if you feel like a treat.
