Mushu jewellery: Affordable, cute, hipster and addictive.
Mushu clothing: Overpriced.
Mushu gifts: Cute random things with a hint of Japanese style. There are postcard sets, and lots of owls.
What is it with owls?
Anyway, this is my go-​to shop when I need to buy a present.
*Yes, I know this is kind of a misuse of the word fantastical, but there is something fanciful and rather out-​of-​the-​ordinary in those fabrics.

Mushu, named because it will make «u» feel all «mush“y inside. Okay, maybe not, but this store is pretty darn cute. It is full of things that will make any girl feel super girly and fun.
Sometimes when I’m walking down Crown Street on a mission to get somewhere, I find myself magically inside Mushu without knowing quite how I got there. Maybe there’s some sort of magic, magnetic forcefield that extends onto the sidewalk and sucks innocent little consumer –happy girls like myself inside? I don’t know what it is, but it’s working.
Most recently, I found my way inside and ogled at the nautical themed accessories near the door. Tote bags in blue and white stripes and adorned with vintage postal patches would made the perfect carry-​on for any jet setter.
Zip around the other side of the store and you’ll find my other favorite thing: large wooden pendent people hanging from chains. These wooden people have metal attaching their arms and legs so they swing around like a vintage toy. It’s definitely antique chic and oh so fun.
Further back, Mushu offers frilly frocks and perfect summer sandals to match in every one of the rainbow’s colors. Wheeee, it’s great fun.

Fellas take note: Mushu is an excellent shop to buy presents for the women in your life!
Mushu’s range of jewellery, clothing, shoes, bags, scarves, belts, purses etc are fab and guaranteed to be a hit.
If you’re still not convinced there’s also a host of homewares and gifts that are certain to please even the hardest to buy for.
Mushu stocks both its own range of bags and purses, as well as a host of boutique and designer brands and its prices range from inexpensive dainty earrings through to pricey dresses and shoes. Everything is on trend, beautifully made and on the whole very reasonably priced.
This shop is a winner.
