Wadjemup Lighthouse

It’s not everyday that you get to climb to the top of a Lighthouse! This had been something I wanted to do since I was a little girl slightly obsessed with Pete’s Dragon. However, in the states there are few lighthouses that will still let you take a trip to the top! So Wadjemup Lighthouse was one of my highlights to my trip to Rottnest Island! Since I traveled during June which is very cold on the island I was lucky enough to be only person on the tour. The tour guide was extremely kind and took his time showing me around and telling me stories about the island and helping me take pictures! It truly was a great experience (this coming from a girl who is afraid of heights)! Private tour or not, I’d recommend checking out this lighthouse, it’s fun to climb to the top and really provides an amazing view.
