Rottnest Island General Store

To my knowledge this is the only place in the world where you can watch a renegade Quokka sneak in to a grocery store and devour his weigh in flour and sugar (note to the owner, maybe baking supplies shouldn’t be on the bottom shelf)! It is also the only grocery store I’ve been too where you get the added entertainment value of hearing the staff yell «QUOKKA» and run through the store with a broom hoping to chase the little buggers out. To me this is grocery shopping and a show!
But in all seriousness this is your one and only opportunity to grab groceries on the island. Prices are inflated but in fairness so are their shipping charges. Plenty of options for a light snack or the basics you need to get through your adventure. They also offer pre-​order delivery service to you cabin which is very nice considering it could be a trek to your cabin. They have everything you would need for your trip and many convenience items as well. Staff is friendly and helpful.
