The staff here are very friendly and helpful. We had sushi and gyoza which was really tasty and not over the top pricey. I’d definitely go there again.

On a dreary and cold night, there’s nothing better than walking into a restaurant that’s warm, cozy and with its own unique atmosphere. YUME Sushi ticked all the boxes for me. Almost immediately I fell in love with the décor and felt ravenous looking at the pictures on the wall. I was seated in moments and took a nice booth seat with my partner. We were given a menu immediately and it came down to what varieties of our favourite sushi we wanted. It was a tough decision and after we got our starters out of the way we opted for the Sashimi Yume Boat. The Yume boat consisted of a mixture of sashimi, nagiri and sushi. It was visually stunning. The sashimi was served on a bed of ice to keep it cool. The fish was cut handsomely and a dollop of wasabi just helped give a kick to the flavours. Halfway through we were served the nagiri and sushi which added a second height to our dining experience. All our items were prepared fresh and by hand. The chefs are definitely adept at their art and know how to serve a great meal. Definitely returning back to the ‘dream’ know as Yume Sushi.

All good things come to those who wait… sometimes… I was after a place to have a ‘quick eat in’ for lunch before jumping back in the car and going to work. Not a great start when they only had 10 customers and they left me waiting 10 mins before they took my order. Place was very casual and lighting was dim(except or the light coming in from the front windows that faced concord road. Ordered a chicken bento box, edamame and a hand made salmon and avo roll. This is where they made up for the wait to order — the food came out much quicker than I expected and it certainly didn’t disappoint. I especially liked the teriyaki chicken in my bento box and the salmon and avo hand roll. The tempura battered prawn and battered veggies were a bit too much — never finished them. I was quite full and content. Although the menu prices are a tad above what I would say is reasonable for a ‘lunch special’. I would definitely drop in again and focus on the teriyaki chicken and the fresh hand roles/sashimi.
