Pron Prohm Thai Restaurant

This restaurant has been consistent for the last 25 years under the original owner. He no longer manages the floor on a daily basis so there have been some recent changes including to the menu. The food is good and seems to work well for the local clientele. The service is usually good and take away home delivery is as well. There seems to be a consistent stream of wait staff from Thailand.

This is a really good neighbourhood Thai restaurant. We ordered the fish cakes, the minced pork salad and the Crying Tiger beef and it was all really good. There were some nice touches as well such as the free prawn crackers (very light and not oily) before our meal and the free mint chocolate at the end. It was all quite reasonably priced as well. I am definitely coming back sometime.

Another day, another Thai restaurant. There is a ridiculous amount of average Thai restaurants around Sydney, so when you find a great one, it’s always good to share the knowledge with friends. So, here goes. Pron Prohm is a fantastic restaurant offering fresh and delicious mouth-​watering flavor explosions. The traditional Thai cuisine is served up by friendly, competent and efficient wait staff. Indoor and outdoor seating options are available– it’s always nice to sit outside during summer and watch the world go by.
The chef’s Pron Prohm use fresh, seasonal ingredients in their dishes, so there is always a lot of variety in the menu. Portion sizes are generous and prices are reasonable. The Massaman and yellow curries are fantastic, as is the pad see ew and stir-​fries.
Offering takeaway, delivery, function room and catering options, Pron Prohm is the perfect place for every occasion.
