Mamor is own by an amazing and passionate Pastry Chef Janet, helped by Wenny a hospitality student and Olivia the manager. The café was beyond charming, this is the first time I visited Mamor and I love it. The room is separated into two and they are decorated in antiques furnitures, beautifully made cups, elegant red cushions, chandeliers and a dash of gold.

Spoiling someone special with a high tea couldn’t be easier at Mamor. The old world antique décor feels luxurious and authentic from the plush red velvet chairs to the antique china. The staff were accommodating and tailored a menu to suit(chocolate tasting plate and scones). Make sure you arrive hungry because you will be totally stuffed when you depart! Great fun, a decadent experience and lots of fun.

At first glance, the nondescript Johnston Street that runs from Fitzroy to Collingwood is lined with dilapidated warehouses and terraces in various washes of dreary browns and greys. Yet, here lies what MoMo & Coco consider to be one of the most beautiful hidden gems of Melbourne. With a frontage of an antique shop that probably wouldn’t look out of place further down south and east along Armadale’s High Street, Mamor Chocolate Szalon beckons with a distinctively garnet red façade. …Overall, Marmor translates to «ectasy» in Hungarian, a state of mind that MoMo & Coco experienced throughout a most leisurely three hours of luxuriating in a perfect symmetry of unique food, lively conversation, and sumptuous surroundings suffused with a touch of Old Europe in a most unexpected pocket of Melbourne.
