I regularly go to Beanscene to meet friends and I get a take out from here too. The coffee is great, the atmosphere is relaxed and calm. Free wifi, which is great too. I really enjoy it in Beanscene, it is a great meeting place!

We popped into Beanscene last night as we were just wanting a hot drink, which you cannot get at a pub.
We had hot chocolate with all the extras, which were delicious.
We will definitely be back.

Beanscene has a central location which is great for grabbing a coffee while shopping, or on the way to lectures. The coffees are good, although quite strong so ask for one shot if you need it a little weaker! The food is good and the atmosphere relaxed. The great thing about Beanscene is that it is open late so you can go there and read or catch up on work when all the other coffee shops have closed. The service, however, is always terrible and they seem badly understaffed. A nice coffee shop but be prepared to wait!

Great coffee shop and eatery in St. Andrews. Popular with students and non-​students. Fantastic food deals, the £10 platter is excellent and plenty for two hungry people to share. Groovy music and free wifi make this an excellent choice.

Open a few years now, Beanscene is hugely popular. They have comfy sofas as well as tables and benches. The selection of food is good although limited to café snacks and hot sandwiches. Chocolate buns and cake slices are delicious, and the hot drinks are as good as anywhere else. The big draw of this café is the late opening and the live music. Beanscene is really trendy as you can enjoy the evening there rather than be in a busy pub and pay a corkage to bring your own wine and beer. THis place is a great addition to St Andrews.
