Top quality pasties, sausage rolls, cakes, snacks and pizza. Just one word describes it. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

They’re just abso-​bloody-​lutely everywhere nowadays at the moment aren’t they? And there’s always a massive queue at lunchtimes, so don’t go thinking you’ll be in and out with your pasty in less than a minute. It will take you at least five.
What’s good about Gregg’s is that it’s cheap, and if you get there before two or three in the afternoon, the pasties will be hot. Both of these things are very good, and are the reason why I do slightly more than occasionally end up at Gregg’s.
Until the Cornish Pasty shop have a branch on every street in the country, it will probably stay that way too.
I don’t have the same life conundrums as the other guys who have reviewed this place luckily enough.

The Sandwhiches were very nice, but the pasties were luke warm, but the shelves are well stocked and were very tidy. The Cakes looked very tempting when we went in. There are normally pleanty of multi buy offers on in store, but you can also print out discount voucher from time to time of there website. The staff were cheery and chatty and quick to serve. Good Value for money food on the go and to take home for later.

Even if I was in dire need of a pasty or sausage roll whilst walking past this shop I would not go in! Shocking I know.
The reason I would never go in is because;
A) I don’t often have a dire need to eat a pasty or sausage roll.
And
B) I believe if I did go in and as I stood in Greggs in the Arndale Shopping Mall I would be forced to reassess my life and analyse what dreadful mistakes I had made to lead me to such a depressing fate. In doing so I believe I would lose my appetite thus never eating the pasty/​sausage roll I had lined up.

So what if it kills you, for a quid for a full belly, who cares? Greggs tastes like deliciously salty goodness. Cakes are b-​e-​auuuutiful and the pasties are yummy.

Cheap and cheerful pasty shop. I have been coming here since I was a little person! The pasties are really nice for a small snack, there’s the usual steak and kidney, meat and potato and cheese and onion to choose from plus other pastry type dishes such as sausage rolls. There are sandwiches of every description plus some delicious cakes.
The location is great, its right inside the Arndale Centre so if you are having a hard days shopping, nip into Greggs to keep the energy levels up!
Staff are always helpful and the shop always looks clean and tidy.

You cant really complian about greggs. They sell pasties, sausage rolls, cakes and my personal favourite the pizza finger mmmm! They also have a wide range of sandwiches that are freshly made daily on the premises (as of course all the hot food is), my personal favourtie is the chicken and bacon baguette. Prices are great for all of those millions of people who dont want the expense of going for lunch somewhere. a Sausage roll is about 40 odd pence which leaves no one complaining! Greggs is great because its the same wherever you go, you know what youre going to get! They also sell fresh bread and bread rolls etc which are equally lovely! Recommended from me!
