Do not trust these people with your hair. Seriously, just pay the 30 pounds extra and go to a real salon. You will thank yourself. I recently went in to Supercuts out of desperation for a simple trim. My fool-​proof haircut (medium length, straight across, no fringe) was absolutely butchered to the point of no return by their stylists. My stylist cut my hair entirely too short and gave me choppy bangs and short layers, none of which I asked for. I have never been picky about my hair so for me to even feel as though I’ve gotten a bad cut is saying a lot.
In the case of Supercuts you truly get what you pay for. It’s convenient and costs 20 quid but you may as well have give the scissors to a toddler and let them style your hair as they please.

I have been a Supercuts customer for many years in the U.S. and London. Never again will they have my patronage.
I stopped in at 4 pm. The receptionist indicated that they were very busy and to return later. She said they were opened until 8 pm. At 6:30 pm the same receptionist told me they were not taking any more customers. This was odd as no one seemed to be waiting. I reminded her that she told me they were open until 8 and to return later.
I walked past the shop about 20 minutes later. They seemed to be closing early. This is just horrible customer service.

This particular branch really requires appointments, otherwise the service falls flat. I didn’t have one and needed a haircut while at Shepherd’s Bush. Almost instantly, I could sense that the receptionist was not thrilled that I didn’t have an appointment, however, she told me to sit and wait.
After 30 minutes of waiting, no one updated me on the waiting time, said hello, smiled or even acknowledged my existence. This is quite a poor show considering my local barbers (who are equally as busy) takes a more customer oriented approach. I felt I was an unwanted guest, rather than a paying customer.
After waiting 30 minutes, I left and found a barber shop across the road who were leagues ahead in terms of service.

It’s cheap, it’s quick and it’s OK.
You can’t make an appointment, just show up and wait in line. If you just want a basic cut that’s alright but I didn’t have the best experience with colour so I wouldn’t recommend that!
If it’s an emergency and you need a hairdresser quickly it’s a good place to go but I am sure you can find something better.
