Popped in for a quick lunch. Didn’t hear great reviews about Jamie’s, but had a fab night of cocktails here. Tried the lunch special. Old salad leaves. Off putting. Not impressed. No ambience.

Really expected more from Jamie’s wine bar. The bar itself is nice but if you come here for the food you are sure to be let down by the limited menu serving local pub grub. We settled for tapas which were so so. Nothing too exciting on the menu at all. Hopefully I’ll have better luck with Jamie’s Italian.

We went to Jamie’s wine bar for a pub quiz organized by my company’s social events team.
The location is great, and the place is very cosy.
The wine list is fine as well, though there is no big choice for beers (no Belgian beers, etc.).
Now, for the low points: the shots and other liquors are excessively high, and the food (we had all kinds of pub food — nibbles) was varied, yet utterly tasteless and oily…
A good night spent there, but not sure I’d go again…

Usual Jamies clientele will be used to the food and service. This newish one does not let one down.
Candles and soft music in the evening makes this one a haunt for those Insurance suits wishing not to be found!
