This place was recommended to me by someone I met in Paris a few days earlier and so I was very glad they were open today, which is Easter Sunday, and my only day in town. First, the service was outstanding. I think it was the owner or manager and another young man working and they were both extremely friendly and helpful as I figured out what to get. Then, the food — the FOOD — was so good. I got a mixed salad with four different kinds(beets, aubergine, snow pea mix, sweet potato) and I was a little hesitant because I am not normally the cold«salad» type of person… I used quotes because these were not lettuce based salads, more like antipasti(I think that’s the word). Well, color me surprised, because they were sooo good, I got a large mixed salad with the last three(which were my favorite) to take back to my hotel for dinner. The sweet potato in particular tasted like pumpkin pie. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

A brilliant family run coffee-shop, juice bar and healthy eating lunch spot that is affordably priced for Kensington. My boyfriend works in the area and we met for lunch in this cosy coffee shop, You chose a main dish and then there’s an array of delicious salad items to build it into a healthy and satisfying lunch. I had broccoli quiche, aubergine and beans while my boyfriend had coq au vin, broccoli and new potatoes. They spotted my boyfriend was a strong strapping man(and a fast eater) and brought him an extra portion of coq au vin FORFREE! As we left, we complimented the guy at the till on the food and he explained he was the owner and his wife and daughter worked the kitchen. He told us his name and gave us a cookie each to take away — also for free! TOPTIP — freshly squeezed juices(orange, apple and carrot) are just £2.50 a cup, which is half the price of Whole Foods just 2 mins away. And the service is way friendlier!

Bright clean space. Very friendly service. Fantastic choice of healthy food options. Fresh and yum! So many fresh salads was hard to choose just 2 :) Only negative is layout of service area a bit cramped.

A lot has happened since my last review, and I am now a massive fan of their salad bar. Actually, been overdoing the latter lately and wish they’d change the choices every now and again. Don’t get me wrong, they are all delicious, but it is just a bit weird to be eating the same thing three days a week … I don’t usually sit in but take my box of goodies to the nearest park or back to my office, but they are attracting a good crowd now. Being offered free tasters from their sweet counters is another nice touch and I have been particularly impressed by their cheesecake. It’s nice to see a place come into its own and they are now also fully set up to accept credit card payments.

Beautiful salads– all the vegetables were perfect and bright. Interesting flavour combinations as well. My server crammed my box full of food from the salad bar. Made a great lunch to take back to the office– no carb comedown slump at 3pm!

We just popped in here as we were walking. The pastries looked amazing. My husband got a flan pastry with dulce de leche that he raved about! I unfortunately was temped by the beautiful meringues … there were lovely displayed and looked so yummy! I got a lemon one and was severely disappointed … it was over baked, SUPER hard and it was obvious they used fake lemon essence and too much of it at that. I ended up throwing half of it away… which is CRAZY because I LOVE meringues… but I like them crisp and crunchy on the outside with a bit of chewiness on the inside. I was gonna give it 4 stars because my husband loved his so much, but I decided he can do his own review this one is for my experience… Super cute place and if we stayed in and had some coffee with our treats I might have given it 4 stars.

A cute little coffee shop offering free wifi and a charming upstairs loft in which to use it. Their drink list is to the point, but they have an array of pastries and cakes– all the usual suspects plus other more exotic options; think pistachio coconut cupcakes and raspberry clafoutis. If you’re looking for savory, there’s a fantastic salad bar to choose from. Proteins include grilled Atlantic salmon, Indian spiced chicken breast and BBQ chicken. The salads here are rustic chic and are definitely feel-good super food choices. The combinations include romantic pairings like silky cannellini beans against hearty roasted butternut squash flecked with torn basil and arugula. Crunchy tart apples with sweet roasted beets. Artichoke hearts and garbanzo beans with big leaves of Italian parsley and chopped dill.
