West End Wax and Beauty

I’ve been going to Westend Wax and Beauty for a year. I tried it out based on a recommendation from a friend, and I’m very glad I did.
I have fair skin and fair hair and at other salons I’ve found that I’ve had large areas of hair missed on my legs. This definitely doesn’t happen at Westend Wax and Beauty.
Fast, efficient and I’m always satisfied with my waxing experience. All staff are so friendly and genuine. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else to get waxed.
Situated on Dumbarton Road, easily accessible from Partick underground/​bus/​train terminus, getting there is easy peasy.
Salon has just been refurbed and looks amazing. Very classy and clean. What are you waiting for?

Just been for another wax with Debbie and thought id update the review to say that her standards are definitely not slipping at all! Perfect wax, expertly done and no pain at all.
It’s pretty rare to actually look forward to getting all your hairs ripped out by a stranger, but with Debbie I actually do look forward to it! She’s like a therapist, pal, and expert waxer all in one!
I recommend her to all my pals and they always love her just as much. With student discount I get underarms, a brazilian, and half leg for 42 quid, which is pretty decent if you ask me!
Don’t trust anyone else with your vajayjay wax, I’ve been coming here for years now and would never go anywhere else.

Having made West End Wax a staple in my beauty book, I scheduled an appointment more than a month in advance prior to a major international trip. On the day, I received an appointment reminder at 12pm for my 1pm appointment. I was already making my way from the Southside to Partick, and in less than 30 minutes of my 1pm appointment I had seen 2 missed calls on my phone. Moments later I received an email stating my appointment had been rescheduled then cancelled. Completely confused by what was going on, I called West End Wax.
There was no apology, and no return call to try and reschedule the appointment in the week prior to my flight. To this day, I am still very disappointed at how unprofessional the situation was handled.
