Tonight’s meal is a five course steak dinner
The first course was carrot and coriander soup — not particularly special but as soup goes it was fine
This was followed by black pudding fritters — very nice but felt they were a little greasy
Lemon sorbet was next — now that’s what I call sorbet
This was dolled by an excellent lump of sirloin
Now for the sweet — will try the choc fudge cake if I have room
There was a very good singer entertaining us — it was just like a night out in Blackpool
So was the décor — nice food but dated

Unusually placed restaurant at back of shop unit in Barrhead ! Enormous portions! Far too much even for us. Steaks were ginormous and cooked just right! We had the groupon 5 course package with prosecco and good value for money. Only disappointment is the rather dated surroundings. In serious need of a makeover.

Snooks is a brilliant steak house right in the centre of Barrhead
The staff are brilliant and always have a laugh ! The good is delicious massive portions and great steaks and lemon chicken !
The even better thing is you can get get dinner for two for as cheap as £30 on things like amazon and groupon where as usual your talking at least £80
The restaurant is a little dated and during the week it can be a bit quiet but at the weekend your lucky if you can get a seat so beware do book a table!
The lunch menu is cheap as we’ll and I would defiantly recommend this even for a light bite.

What can you say about this place the owners are great, stevi the owner was great very very very helpfull have to say as a steak house it rings all the bells would recommend to any one to try, best bit of advice tho if it’s your first time heading here don’t go at the weekend it’s choca best to book in advance as its always busy and once you have a meal you will soon see why it’s so busy all the time can’t wait to go back

Just back from a meal at snooks! It was amazing!!!
The staff were all great and the food was lovely!
Will be booking to go again in the very near future! I can’t believe I’ve not heard of it before as I believe it’s quite an established place!!! The only down side was the bathrooms need some serious up grading but they are not so bad to make it effect my rating!!!

Been here a few times, great steaks, huge onion rings and friendly staff. Think I paid £20 for the fillet steak Which was a great size and well worth it.

A very pleasant steak house to visit for lunch. I’m sure it’s very pleasant for an evening meal too. Lunches were an average of £6.00 a dish and they offer all the usual fabourites; lasagne, chilli, scampi … Etc
I had the steak baguette with stilton melted over it. The chips weren’t anything to write home about but the main dish was delish’
The drinks weren’t too expensive (bottle of Stella £ 3.40)
The music was being played from a tiny wee CD player with two wee speakers sitting on top of a cabinet and could be heard throughout the restaurant. It did keep cutting out now and then but was mostly at a nice volume with it’s easy-​on-​the-​ear music wafting out.
Overall, worth the visit. Nice décor’; large pictures of the local area from bygone days filled all the walls. Fresh flowers on all the tables too

i won a competition for a meal for two at snooks, we wnet there and i was impressed with the selection on the menu for non meat eaters.
I had the 32oz porterhouse and it was perfect!
i like my steack medium well done, the staff were attentative but not intrusive. the lighting was the only issue, a bit softer and it would have been spot on.

the speciality being steaks, cooked to your taste and brought to your table with seperate sides including baked potatoes, onion rings, chips, mushrooms (which is all included in the price!)
for those not partial to steak, the menu offers a wide choice of other meats and vegetarian options.
great family place, which can accommodate large groups without issue.
