Really solid pub. This is a definite pub to visit if you’re in Brighton and fancy a drink, or food. The drink was good! Really friendly staff, good selection of gin and beer etc. It’s not very big so you don’t find yourself waiting too long at the bar. The food was also really good. We had a platter of pork pies, black pudding sausage rolls(basically a vegetable now black pudding is a super food!) and scotch eggs. It was all really good. The atmosphere is friendly and I really don’t have a bad word to say about the place!

One of Brighton less well known pubs and a favourite with our friendship group — it is usefully opposite where a lot of us used to work(very hand on a Friday when it turns 5.30.!). Its a small pub a few tables upstairs(enough you can fit a couple of small groups) and they have renovated & excovated what used to be a sandwich bar on the side so they now have a snug downstairs, extra loos and a very small hidden outside area. However the best thing about the 3jbs is standing outside in the sunshine– it has a few seats and tables but it is on the corner of a not too busy residential road so you’ll find everyone pours out onto the streets creating a great london buzz. The food is very good however we’ve found its often a little slow(especially when you’re on your lunch break) however on those occaisions the owner of the pub has refunded us the price as we have had to eat and run. Not ideal but certainly a well appreciated gesture! There is also a jazz night, pub quiz night– lots going on! Best and busiest time will be friday after work time especially when the weather is good.

Cosy little bistro bar, which filled up quickly and felt quite cramped. Friendly service and a menu of traditional pub grub but very little vegetarian option(There was a veggie pie). Not much more to say, only had a couple of Peronis.

Doesn’t really look like a pub. I suppose you could say it was interesting, because it is a bit different. but I just didn’t find it cosy and my ale was not all that either. My friends showed some admiration for their burgers though. It is nice to know just how many Jolly Butchers there are for once too!
