The Eatwell Food store is quite possibly the best health food supplier in Belfast. Located midway along the Lisburn Road, it has a quaint, blue, traditional façade and stocks a vast range of whole/​health foods including grains, nuts, seeds, vitamins, oils, chocolates, nut roasts and cooking sauces.
I particularly like their range of environmentally friendly Ecover household cleaning products and vast selection of vegan and vegetarian foods. Plus Eatwell’s stock chilled goods including tofu, Violife dairy free cheeses, Swedish Glaze ice cream and vegetarian haggis etc.
They also have a full section filled with cosmetics, creams and shampoos; in conclusion Eatwell’s have it all! You’ll get items here you just won’t find in standard supermarkets and shops. An excellent store.

Their foods are delicious and the staff are all very friendly. I really love this shop, it’s a pleasure to browse. They have a good selection of products and it is one of my favourite shops in Belfast.

My mum is a Ceoliac, which means she can’t eat Gluten. Gluten appears to be in everything the big wigs can think of putting it in, so she would always use these type of stores to get food that’s more agreeable with her. Eatwell is a fantastic place to shop if you have any specific needs diet wise. They stock all manor of organic cereals and dried fruits etc. The staff are always on hand to dish out advice for all your health needs.

Eatwell is a really fantastic health shop/​specialist shop/​delicatessen on the ever trendy Lisburn road. My friend is a strict Vegan and raves about this place, often taking me in if we’re ever up in the area. They stock everything you could want if you’re a vegan and even if you’re not and fancy something different! The deli is great and I especially love their pasties and their hummus is really great too! Everything really is delicious and surprisingly for such a specialist shop the prices are really great too making it a real gem of a place! If you’re Vegan and haven’t checked this place out. you must do so immediately. It will soon become your fave place!

Sticking to a special diet such as wheat free requires considerable application however many of the necessary wheat and gluten free cereal products such including rye, barley and spelt are to be found here along with a comprehensive range of foods catering for vegan diets. To me the presence of hazelnut, almond and even quinoa milks must be another indicator of a well stocked health shop. Advice on special diets and tests for food intolerances are also available from the owners of the aptly named Eatwell.
