Not the sort of place I would normally go for lunch, I found myself in Chopstix on Royal Avenue. In my defence I was a little hungover. The fact that there was a bit of a queue enticed me, as I hadn’t been in before. It is a pretty simple idea, get a base of rice or noodles and choose your topping(I went for spicy Malaysian chicken). The service was a bit brusque, but what do you expect, it is a take-out noodle bar, but the food was pretty flavoursome and had enough of a kick to sort me right out. As I say, it won’t be an everyday thing, but I’d give it a go the next day I want a naughty lunch.

As it is down the street from my gaff in Belfast, I thought I would give this noodle bar a go. For some reasons, I got addicted to their caramel & coconut chicken! Their chips aint great — the same for most of their offerings BUT anything will do if you want to try their caramel/coconut chicken!
