Boojum burritos are pure beaut. Make sure you are hungry though because these things are HUGE. Try the burrito bowl if you don’t fancy double carbs!

Boojum is delicious! The burritos here are beautiful. The staff are really helpful if you’re a burrito amateur and need a bit of help deciding what to have. They sell soft drinks and beer too… perfect, burrito and beer… yummmm The city centre location makes it very handy. There is seating inside so you don’t have to run off if you don’t want to. There does tend to be a queue but it moves fairly quickly so don’t be put off.

My favourite Mexican restaurant. Chicken fajita, sour cream, cheese and hot sauce all lovingly placed in a wrap. All this washed down with Ginger ale. What else could you want? #BoojumBanter

I can’t count the number of burritos I’ve had from this branch of boojum! I’m a creature of habit and always get the same one… chilli beef, Mexican rice, pinto beans, sour cream, cheese and guacamole. They’re huge! I’ve never finished one yet but I give it a good try. It’s a really popular restaurant often with the queue going out the door! Beware, they don’t take card so make sure you have cash!

If you like burritos then you have to try this place. If you live in Belfast or even anywhere 30 miles around Belfast you are bound to have heard of this place. Famous for two things, amazing burritos and queues out the door. The staff are highly skilled and very knowledgable in getting you just what you want(or didn’t realise you wanted). Brave the queues and possibly the weather you won’t be disappointed.

I love this place. Prices are great, staff are amazing and burritos from Boojum are the best I’ve ever had. Layout is good and worth staying in if possible to get some hot sauce. Theres always a bit of a queue but its completely worth it and the queue goes in fast. Would recommend to anyone

Always love a visit to Boojum, quick, cheap and very tasty fajitas/burritos/tacos available all day. Most times there is a queue so you know the food is fresh and good! Definitely recommend

Boojum efficiently and quickly serves up freshly made Mexican food including burritos, fajitas and tacos. There is a vegetarian option which includes guacamole and grilled peppers and onions but most of the options include some form of meat. My go to is the vegetarian burrito with Mexican rice, both beans, hot salsa, plus the all the toppings and jalapeños. The staff are very courteous and generous with their portions. There is also a loyalty card for those who develop a burrito addiction(quite possible given the quality of the product and reasonable prices). The one drawback is that there is often a line at Boojum around meal times but it moves quickly and is merely a reflection of successfully serving the needs of its customers. I’ll be back for more.

Boojum is one of the hottest places in Belfast to eat, I’m not just talking about the Mexican sauces. Serving up Mexican realness, Boojum is a must try for and visitor to Belfast. Located 4 minutes from City Hall it’s handy for those who are in the city centre. Be prepared to line up to be served. This place is so popular there is almost always a queue. Choose from a variety of styles(burrito wrap /bowl or salad. They choose your ingredients and finally your salsa. The price is reasonable approx £6 with a soft drink, which are also on sale. Just do it. You too will no doubt be a boojum addict

I sometimes wonder what my life would be like if I did not have boojum in it. I imagine it would be dark, depressing, with no real meaning. Thankfully though, I do have it in my life, and I am so grateful that it is. These burritos are without a doubt, to quote Gillette, the best a man can get.

Boojum is a Belfast institution, if you haven’t been to Boojum I don’t want to know you! Wait, maybe that’s a bit harsh. I will start over… Boojum was the first eatery in Belfast that cottoned on to the idea that people wanted Mexican food and they wanted it in a handy tin foil wrap that they could take to the streets with. This has been their ethos from day one and it has worked for them. I haven’t visited the Botanic Boojum but the site on Chichester Street has become a second home to me, it’s handy for a working lunch, a casual dinner and a hangover recovery meal. Ticks every box. My meal of choice is a beef burrito with salsa verde(medium heat) and topped off with plenty of sour cream — definitely give it a go. It’s filling enough for lunch. The staff are absolute magicians, the way they manipulate that foil around your meal would put you in mind of David Blaine– blink and you’ll miss it!

At first, when I passed this place, I didn’t want to go in, because all the condensation on the window makes it look very unprofessional from the outside. However, the long queue at lunch time did not go unnoticed. This is now one of my favorite places in Belfast for a high value, casual meal. The burritos are fresh, delicious, and generously sized. At 5.5 pounds they are a bargain. Note that after going here, you will be getting hungry looks for all the wrong reasons. The absence of ventilation over the service counter means that the room is full of steam, carrying with it the smell of Mexican food. In essence, your clothes will smell like burrito for a couple of days. Having spent an h our here, I had to wash all my clothes, and hang my jacket outside to air out the smell. This steam also causes the condensation problem on the windows. The owners should really consider investing in ventilation. To summarize, the food is great value. If you are so enthusiastic about burritos that you don’t mind smelling like one, the place is 5 stars. For people like myself, who primarily see burritos as a delicious meal, the place is more suitable for a quick bite, and if you have no plans after.

Burritos, tacos, nachos, chilli. All available and all great. Only negative is that the steak can sometimes be a bit chewy but apart fom that fresh tasty and filling. Some nice Mexican beers too
