The food is always good at Wagamama however their new addition to the menu of the Surendra currys’ has an overload of spices which leave a bad taste in your mouth, not to forget the heartburn that is caused by it. I think it should be taken of the menu.

I had a simple lunch. Pork Ramen and a lemonade. The Ramen was huge and pretty good. The service was average. Wagamama has a definite chain feel now. but you know what, that light chicken broth with the soba bitey gluey soba noodles and jelly like pork belly were fantastic. A splash of soy and chilli oil and I was very happy. Good value!

I’ve eaten at this particular branch of Wagamama many times over recent years. I haven’t had a bad experience here yet. The menu is quite extensive and I’ve tried quite a lot of it. The food here is excellent. The service is always first class. The décor is pleasant and the kitchen is open you you can see that it is spotless. I have tried to get seated her at lunchtime and given up waiting as the queue to get in are enormous.

It was ok. There is not a lot more you can say about Wagamama really is there. My Chicken Katsu curry was nice if a little uninspiring, just deep fried breaded chicken, plain boiled rice and a generic curry sauce akin to adding a small amount of water to a medium madras curry powder. Unfortunately it was served 10 minutes before my wifes dish. The Itame chicken soup with coconut milk and lime was very nice, good south east asian flavours. In fact it was this alone that raised this review from 2 stars to 3. Unlike the other reviewer I am not a Wagamama regular but when you are hungry at Brent Cross it seems to be a ½ decent option.

Wagamama has repeatedly been voted best restaurant chain in the UK. it is fast food but everything is freshly prepared except for the 3 stocks of Ramen(soup). There are Vegetable, fish, or meat stock and then the various add ons are cooked fresh. However, #77 is best value as it is a rice dish with pickles vegetables and Miso Soup included.

Let me preface this by saying that I love wagamama. I have been eating in their restaurants for years(The best is still the soho branch) but… This branch has served me 2 of the worst meals I have ever had the misfortune of eating. Lukewarm overcooked ramen :-(Sadly the first time I came here I bought my mother who now refuses to let me take her to one of the branches that actually do it right.

I’m gonna rate the Chicken Katsu curry as it’s what I usually get. The best thing on the menu surely! I’ve tried the udom noodles and other rice dishes which were OK but the katsu beats them all. Just an amazing dish. A must try for anyone visiting Wagamama! The service has always been great. I would love to see a lunchtime special some time soon. The place is always packed which gives it a nice atmosphere. I used to be but not anymore a big fan of the Japanese styles ‘canteen’ seats but after a nice big meal all I want to do is lay back onto my chair. Overall — Great place!

This particular location at Brent Cross merits four stars, some may only get a 3 from me as I tried the same dish at other locations and it wasn’t as tasty. I love the green tea noodle salad, at least I love it here in Brent Cross. In the Wagamama at The Royal Festival Hall it was a bit bland and the scallops were mushy inside. I do find the service and menu are good and it is good value for London although the absence of Lunch time specials does make it pricier than it could be.
