Broers

Was a nice place to have breakfast at. All food was very fresh, the coffee good and the atmosphere wonderful. It is a really big place with many nice little corners to pick from in terms of seating.

I like coming to Broers. Outside and next to a window you can people watch and inside there are lot’s of different seating options. On a coach, at a small table, a communal table, even reading nooks. It’s pretty awesome.
I like to eat lunch here or grab a drink during the sunset as it’s not very expensive.
Also, I must try their afternoon tea at some point. When I do, I’ll let you know how it was. ;)

This was my lunch place for today. I had an hour and a half available for lunch, and since this café-​restaurant was right across the plaza from the university building that I had business in, this was a good choice for lunch.
I entered, and realized that this was a huge place. There are several cavernous dining areas. It’s so big there’s even trees (or maybe it was just large plants) inside. I selected a table near the edge of a room, secluded enough so I can have peace to read my book while waiting for lunch.
I ordered a fresh mint tea, as well as Oma’s gehacktbal. I think that translated to Grandma’s meatball. And I was right! I single meatball came, with mustard, a salad, and two pieces of bread. It was actually good, even though it took a bit of time to arrive.
But what impressed me was that the staff actually came to apologize for the delay, when I thought it wasn’t delayed at all. I think I was just waiting for 10 minutes at that time. I told them I have to leave by 2:30, and they said I would have enough time for my meal.
So yes, this was a good place to have lunch. The service was impeccable, and the food was higher than average.

Cool place full of students during the first week of the new term so it made for a good atmosphere I only dropped in for coffee and apple tart but in the end had cheesecake because they had finished the apple tart! Great glass roof light over the central room to keep the place bright even on a rainy day!

The place is a little bit noisy when it’s full. The space we had was a little tight, as they put the tables near each other.
The food was nice as i went there for lunch. Had a fresh mint tea, soup and a ham and cheese toast. I was really full after that. Food was nice. Will be coming back and try other food.
