Maybe it’s because I have become accustomed to the high standard of coffees elsewhere in the world that I found what’s served up here disappointing. It is more likely however that this is just bad and does not represent Dutch & Delicious as the name implies. Not only our coffees(prepared through push of a button on a fancy-looking machine) were bad; the same can be said of the appelgebak(Dutch apple pie) that was cold and old, and especially our pannekoek. The place isn’t so bad that I would avoid it altogether(for example, it can be convenient at 4am in the morning) but there’s no reason to go back unless no other option is available.

The only authentic Dutch experience you’re set to have at Dutch & Delicious is being ripped off. Despite it serving as primarily a tourist location at the airport, I don’t think it’s much asked to actually serve proper food. The service is absolutely lackluster, and the food takes ages to be prepared. In case of the latter, it doesn’t help they have somewhat of an open kitchen. The poffertjes, or mini pancakes as they’re called on the menu, are simply microwaved pre-packaged ones, sold for € 4,-. If you walk 100 meters, you can get a 50 pack from Albert Heijn To Go and you’re just left to find yourself a microwave. In short, save yourself the time and money and go to Burger King instead.

Came from a 6 hours flight. Wantes something dutch. Good place. I ordered the eggs, with bread and ham. Delicious. Perfect to give me the energy for the rest of my journey. 12 euros though a little expensive but it is the rates applied in those places I. e airports, train stations. They often have a high rent. I recommend. Nice clientele too

I order a salad carpacio. The salad was not what i expected. The pesto overrules the salad and the service is very very bad!

Not impressed! I came in the morning and was expecting something breakfast like. They had signs saying they had pancakes so I went with one of those. It is basically a crêpe, not a thick soft, pancake. It cost me 6 Euros which seemed outrageous for what I got. Like another reviewer said, this was Dutch but not delicious! I would not choose to go here again!

So I have a little over an hour and a half to kill before boarding time of my flight, what to do: eat because I already checked out the Hema and the other joints in the airport. I chose Dutch & Delicious mainly for the name and, duh, the genre of food. Noodles? Nah. Another bar, Nah. Baked goods?, Nah. A quick snack from the market? Nah. Dutch & Delicious looked decent and healthy so I made my order based on the ingredients. The menu is like a sandwich shop or a breakfast related menu. I place my order and get this round plastic electronic gadget that has lights(LED light bulbs) on it on a serving platter. I find it interesting. When my order is ready that thing lights up red, I don’t recall if it made a sound. I don’t know if anyone reading has been to Sea Thai Restaurant and Bistro in Williamsburg Brooklyn, but it’s like that, you get a beeper and when your order is ready your beeper goes off. I bring my serving platter with the beeper on it to get my sandwich with potato chips and drink. The food is tasty, simple and fresh. The meat in my double decker sandwich are turkey, eggs and Canadian style bacon. The veggies in my sandwich are spinach, tomatoes and cucumbers. The ingredients mix well together on toast with a side of chips. Pretty much a sandwich shop.

One of the several fast food places at Schiphol owned by the Glendale Group. I can agree on half the name — yes it is Dutch but it is hardly delicious. The food offered is traditional Dutch things I would find in a bar or for that matter the company restaurant. The expectations are of course low as it is on an airport but this places fails to meet even the low expectations. There are other better options(I would probably prefer La Place Express if we are talking on this side of security or Park Café or the noodle bar on the other side) although nothing great is really available.
