This is really not authentic tapas, we felt the food was cooked earlier in the day and heated up! The results were not so good. Many better choices, the owner needs to get an authentic Spanish chef and fix the menu.

My boyfriend and I just bought our first house together, and it all started on our first date at El Pincho. I had some high hopes for the tapas, but my standards are a bit high after living in Spain for some time. The Iberian ham was pretty good, as was the chorizo(fried) and sangria. There are some strange Dutch-ism to the Spanish cuisine(like their wrap with smoked salmon and cream cheese?), but it’s mostly on point. Everything on the menu is quite heavy, so if you’re looking for light tapas, better try somewhere else, or stick to the olives. For Dutch standards, the food and service here are great. The price is moderate, but the ambiance is worth it. This super cozy spot is located smack dap in the city centre of Haarlem, across from the big church and near all the«happening nightlife». We’ve been back several times for beers, Iberian ham and reminiscing.
