Both new, 2nd hand, and upcycled clothes. Pretty good assortment for the size of the shop. Both mens and womenswear.
Prices were reasonable. You are not going to make the deal of your lifetime here, but that is not what this kind of shop is for anyway.

Oh how this place just hits every mark in my second hand-​store-​book! I came for a dress-​up party but found so many things I would wear every day. And I’m far from that hipster who wears ugly things out of style and make it look cool, which is why I mostly feel completely alienated in second hand stores. But Zipper stepped it up. The super outlandish things share space with the normal looking things. It is affordable, not crazy cheap. Staff was incredibly helpful. I will TOTES be coming back for that collection of leather backpacks. Minus on the small, revealing changing booths that are situated right by the entrance. But so worth a visit!

I love Zipper. I’ve been coming here for almost ten years now! I used to buy tiaras and petticoats for my fairy princess teenage clothing style but nowadays I come here for cute vintage dresses and awesome sweaters. Zipper has two locations in Amsterdam and I think one is most people’s favourite. I actually like the Nieuwe Hoogstraat better but it’s not really a huge difference. The staff is always friendly and cool.
