more selection — and maybe I am just used to LA ‘vtinage’ but the prices were pretty good here. I don’t mind paying a little extra for the fact that it is ocd organized and categorized. Makes it east o get in, find what you’re looking for, and get out.

What a disappointment… I had been here a few times and bought some beautiful things, but I think today was the last day I step in this store. We asked one of the girls if we could just take a couple of fur coats that were hanging(quite high) above the kassa and we wanted to try on. She told us to wait so she could grab something to pick them up for us –we could have done it from the stairs but she didnt let us. 2 minutes later, she came back and literally said«sorry guys, but I am very busy and I don’t have time to grab anything for you». It was so unbelievable that we didn’t know what to answer. I mean, I understand it’s Saturday and it’s busy, but If you don’t have time to help the clients with the clothes that they want to buy… I wonder what your purpose in that store is. She was probably not that interested in selling anything since the store was already full I guess. But I can’t imagine going to a busy bar and not being served because the barman is too busy to pour me a beer. So since she was so busy to try to help us, next time I won’t waste my own time in receiving such bad service and will just go to any of the many vintage stores in Amsterdam.

Completely blown away by the massive collection. From vintage clothes to golf clubs. Spotted mint condition vintage ICEBERG lambskin jacket for only 45 and stacks of fur/leather clothing for 25. Insane deals.

Good 2nd hand, some few new garments and accessories. Both womens’ and menswear. Prices were reasonable, a few bargains, some overpriced, but mostly prices normally expected from this kind of shop. For example: men’s shirts from 12 – 22 €, skirts from 22 €. Mostly contemporary wear for young, not much fine men’s and womenswear. A solid place to visit for 2nd hand shoppers.

I have to say second hand shopping in Amsterdam is hard to come by(for a good place). This place was just another disappointment on my list of things to see. To start off it is in a huge tourist area, literally connected to where the Waterloopein market is so on weekends this area is packed with tourists and locals looking for a good deal. Sadly for them they won’t be finding it here, because Episode is the most grossly overpriced second hand store I have ever been to in Europe and not for Gucci shoes either. I am talking ugly, hippy looking dresses, ripped jeans, tutus, boots, used leather gloves all at prices I am sure you could get cheaper new at a store on sale. I am guessing their store rent is high because of the location and so they need to jack the prices up. Personally I found nothing worth buying here even with the two floors of selection. This place really needs to look up the definition of a second hand store, because they surely don’t know what it is. Conclusion: If you have a lot of money to burn and like ugly used clothes go here, it will be heaven.

Was recommended to shop at Episode by a friend and so glad she gave this recommendation. There are 2 floors to this store, I never made it upstairs so can’t comment on that. I found a fantastic pair of reddish-brown leather boots that were made in West Germany. They are a super soft leather and don’t look like they’ve been worn much at all. For 35 € I thought it was a great deal. The shop had many other customers when I was there, but not so many so still able to get around easily.

This shop is right around the corner from where I live so I window shop here daily. There’s a really large selection of cool used clothes, coats, shoes and accessories. The prices are high for used clothing but I’m sure it’s because of where the store is located. There are two floors at this location but it’s really not a lot larger than the other location. It’s a busy store with lots and lots of shoppers both local and tourist. Some of the aisles are quite narrow. The staff is friendly and helpful if you have questions. I’m really not a fan of clothes shopping but I don’t mind wandering around here. It’s kind of fun.

Over price seriously for secondhand stuff. The only difference between Waterloopein market is one is a(flea market) and the other one is a shop, but both are probably ideal for College students, urban pickers, sightseeing, and people who lived for the 70’s and 80’s. You will spot all kinds of bizarre things in this area.

My favourite vintage shop in town. Maybe cliché, but it is just so great. Since a few months you can also go upstairs, which makes the shop two times as big. I always go here and always find amazing stuff here. I’m a real vintage girl so believe me when I say this place is great :)

Some cool stuff but really expensive for a thrift shop. I found several items with holes and other defects that kept me from buying anything too. I’ll try again but will probably end up at Waterloopleinmarkt or just a regular store if I’m going to pay regular prices anyway.
