Wow, another super find this week. I started wandering around a different area of my neighborhood and found Uprising — a tiny bakery serving just a few things including my current favorite: gooey chocolate brownies. OMG. Just yesterday I got the coconut cake — it was moist and crunchy on top where the coconut and sugar had risen and met the heat. I also bought a nutty vegan bar that was positively heavenly… now I need to stay away for a couple days :). As the previous reviews state: Uprising makes PIZZAS! Just need to order a day early. Super friendly staff took time to tell me about ingredients and how things were made. I’m soo happy to have found such a quirky delicious place.
