I met a friend for drinks in the very cosy bar downstairs, where one drink led to another and (SO good!) yet another. Excellent cocktails and ambience, an evening to remember (despite the three cocktails).

Pro’s: Really like the space and design. Friendly staff. Interesting selection. I met a new friend here for coffee/​tea, and arrived early for a sandwich, which was pretty good, but I’ve definitely had better. Would return and try some other menu items and consider a 4th star, though.

So I am not easily impressed by a menu and I usually find it quite easy to decide what dish I prefer to the others on the menu, but at Terpentijn I basicaslly just wanted to try everything because it all seemed so great. I went for the Very Veggie Cury (you can order the lunch or dinner version) and it is super delicious! I went back to try asian style steak tartare and it’s amazing. I also went there for a Friday night cocktail event and the bar has a really nice vibe, with people standing outside when the weather is good. I am definitely going here more often.
