That Asian woman staff obviously doesn’t speak English, which is rather intriguing since this Starbucks is located in one of the most touristy area in town.

Okay, I know what you’re thinking — why am I writing a review for Starbucks? You know the coffee, the menu, and generally the prices. It’s all uniform and as expected. But this location is especially a favorite for a student in Amsterdam because of how enormous and study friendly it is! A prime spot to study thanks to an enormous shared oak table in the middle of the shop that has plugs for every seat. A STUDENT’S DREAM! A friend and I were able to find a spot to sit down in the middle of midterms week where we could spread out our papers and computers to really focus on our work(with coffee in hand). Of course, there’s wifi as well(sometimes slow, but free and to be expected during busy hours). There are plenty of smaller, more cozy and intimate seats and tables for those just stopping in for a coffee or meeting as well. Also, a little touch I really love is that if you order a coffee«for here,» they serve it to you in a real enormous mug. Kudos for cuteness.

Nice to enjoy Starbucks beverages but this place is small, there is no toilets and this is quite noisy. Therefore, there is absolutely no reason to spend EUR4 — 5 for a drink in this place!

I have been to this Starbucks countless times on my way to work. It is the same as most Starbucks locations in the world. The location is nice if you are out partying in Leidseplein or want to grab one before work. There is also quite a few seats with views of the people walking by. All the girls working in there(I’ve only seen a guy working once) are very nice and helpful. Once in a while if you’re lucky they will even give you a coupon for your next coffee. Korting! One note, you are NOT allowed to take your coffee on the trams. The bus is alright but certainly not the trams. Just fair warning to anyone else who would like to have coffee for your journey.

This Starbucks is opened until late and when I’m around and want a nice cup of coffee, like sometimes after I went to Pathe City, this place is a decent choice. The coffee, of course, is like you can expect from any Starbucks, which I think is okay. This place is often wayyy to crowded though, with mostly tourists and there are also very few seats.

Located right near tram stations and the famous bridges overlooking the canals, it’s a busy location! Be prepared to wait.

The simplicity of a good familiar Arabica bean in a cup with the green mermaid logo is very comforting. How something so vastly available in one city and when you find one, you kind of bookmark it, knowing it’s there within your locale. But when you don’t know an area too well, it’s nice to find a Starbucks. This location is very comfortable because the seating arrangement is designed well, it’s not so cluttered, nor packed and clean with perfect lighting. Maybe it’s the size but the distance to the windows to view outside is just right, all around half the store. There were a bunch of friendly staff. The sort of uniquely positive aspect is this place has the Espresso brownie, it is more flavorful than the Double Chocolate Brownie I find in every other Starbucks close to me. The negative aspect is that it has no restroom, you have to go next door to use the McDonald’s across the street and pay 50 Euro Coins. Other than that just your average take for granted when it’s there but miss it when it’s not Starbucks.

Not as spacious or comfortable as locations at Beethovenstraat or Rembrandtplein but its quick and mostly friendly. Full glass windows on two sides are great for people watching. If you’ve been to any other Starbucks you know what to expect menu-wise.

Music was nice for the environment. As usual, better coffee can be found elsewhere, but you get the expected if that’s what you hope for.

It is the usual Starbucks. Not much special about coffee… they have some good treats for your morning breakfast. Also free WiFi as default in any of their shop. Personnel is a bit dummy… really :)

Had been away from home too long, and was missing one luxury in particular, i.e. drip coffee. Such great service from baristas behind the counter; no matter what time of day it is there will be a line, but it moves incredibly quickly. Other perks: –Packed with other out-of-towners, but everyone is pleasant. –Free wi-fi. –Lots of seating. –Accepts credit cards — no PIN card required(unusual for this city). –Prices just barely above what I find in the States — much less expensive than buying coffee elsewhere. Only four stars because it’s a cheesy, American chain, surrounded by awesome local haunts. Though a bright familiar spot on my long journey from home!

It’s a beautiful place but there is less choice than other Starbucks I used to try, even if my girlfriend(White Moka Coffee) and I(Frapuccino Vanilla Cream) enjoyed what we ordered. The place is so crowded that we’ve waited for several minutes(even if a waitress came and gave free coffee for everybody !) and we’ve hardly found a spot to seat. Beside, some smarty pants came and sat 15 minutes before their friend arrived with the orders, while regular people wait with their plates…

Neuer Starbucks Shop. Wie immer bester Café. Hier ist es immer sehr voll mit jungen Menschen. Liegt wohl am Free Wifi
