The place is beautifully designed with some amazing looking pastry and goodies but in the end it left a serious bad taste in my mouth. From the window I fell in love with a delightful looking chocolate cake so naturally I walked inside and picked up one of the 20 something cakes on the(open) shelf to carry to the register to purchase, only to be accosted by one of the ladies who work there. She approached me and very rudely said«Dont touch the products»…as if I had been fingering everything in sight. I replied that if that was their policy they should consider a sign. As it turns out they do have a sign. It was a 3“x5″ red card on the other side of the store. When I pointed out that there was no need for rudeness she proceeded to tell me it was only a «warning» ?? What does that mean? In hindsight, I should have walked out right then and there but I stupidly bought the cake anyway which I sorely regret. For a tiny 6″ round«gourmet» cake at a cost of nearly € 9 it was mediocre at best. The taste and texture were reminiscent of cocao flavoured cardboard. I would definitely not recommend this pretentious little bakery.
