FOOD&DRINKS I had spare ribs with potatoes and green beans. It wasn’t really bad. It was just bland. Maybe the marinade is meant to be that way. I don’t know but the dish left me unimpressed. Also the ribs were served hand warm. SERVICE I don’t know why the food took so long… we were the only new guests and everyone else already got their dish. The service was okay. ATMOSPHERE Pretty old and not very charming. Maybe just not for everyone. RATING We decided there was nothing else we want to try out here. At least this one has different food options.

Fantastic Nepalese food every time we visit Amsterdam! I absolutely adore their traditional dishes(especially the ones that get served in the steamer pot). Even though those specific dishes are minimum of 2 people, it can easily feed up to 3 or 4 people because it gets served with noodles and rice. Seriously, if you’re looking for something unique and absolutely delicious just give Sherpa a try and you won’t regret it either. Oh, the and service is impeccable. It’s one guy serving most of the tables in the restaurant but he takes the time out to describe each dish and help pick something out if you’re lost on where to start. He was so kind and ended up giving us a free bottle of wine! Granted we were being super nice customers, but I don’t remember the last time I received a free bottle of wine from a restaurant when the bill only came out to less than 40 euros. My boyfriend and I are coming back again before we leave Amsterdam, just can’t wait to try more of their menu!

Amazing food with decent prices and wonderful service. With a wide spectrum of flavors, there is something for everybody, especially for people who have never tried tibetan or nepali food before. We had the vegetarian noodles with veggie MOMOs that were really unique and tasty. The nepali beer was also very impressive! By far our favorite dish was the nepali appetizer with spinach and potatoes! You get tons of food for the amount you pay, so you can definitely get two meals out of it. The waiter was very accommodating and so nice!

An intimate restaurant with a lot of heart. My fiancé had been to Nepal several times before and absolutely loved the food. He believes this is the best presentation of authentic Nepali food in Europe. We had the vegetarian momos and dal bhat and it was delicious. Highly recommend these two dishes together as they are complements.

This was the best Indian food I’ve had in NL. I jest — they’re obviously serving Nepalese food, but the flavors(according to my buddy who’s from there) were less Nepalese than Indian. Better value than many of the Indian restaurants in town too.

I was worried at first when I was looking for somewhere to have dinner in this area because it all seemed very touristy but I was very hungry and didn’t have time to look up anything. I am so glad we found this place! All I wanted was something healthy that would leave me feeling good. The waiter was very nice and helpful and the food was delicious.

I loved this place. Great food and a bargain for dinner, this Nepalese/Himalayan restaurant is perfect if you’re craving something different and full of flavor. Great service and location make it perfect for lunch or dinner.

Tolles PLV!

Seems like the place doesn’t exist anymore. Instead, there is a big construction site at the adress. Pity, we took a long walk to get there. Many restaurants in the neighbourhood, but all very crowded with tourists.
