Why this place has 4.5 stars(ok so only out of 3 people– someone’s friend, aunt and mom?) amazes me. I was hoping this place was going to be like café himalaya in east village, New York but it’s far from it. I thought, How bad could momos be? Apparently I’ve experienced the worst I’ve ever had. I had high hopes for this place too because it was packed. Soon I learned it was packed because no one had their food cause it took forever to serve. But seriously I was at the restaurant for 2.5 hours, and the time it took to eat was 30 minutes. This isn’t a good place to go if you want a normal time dinner or if you’re hungry. Go a couple of hours before you want to eat. Ok the real review– the food itself is a 2. There’s absolutely nothing special about it. I got the fried fish appetizer, which they said would take an hour to prepare. That’s because, I think, they go to the store, get a fish, skin it, marinade it, batter it and then fry it. Or maybe they catch the fish fresh. If something takes an hour to prep, I expect it to be delicious. But sadly it was just fried fish without any taste. I also got the momos. The skin is so thick! And the flavor is not quite there or actually there’s not much flavor. Then we got the vegetable curry which is great if you’re 1 year old and can’t have solid foods. It was a purée that was sweet and bland. Do they have any spices back there? It was warmish-cold too. Then they overcharged us on the beers. Food = 2 Time to cook everything and service brings this place down to a 1 I hate leaving 1 star reviews but it just needs to be done sometimes.

The best Indian food made so pure and authentic. I’m Lebanese and know flavor. They’re really good. Must try!!! Hidden gem.

Really nice little place. I had one of the best vegetable curries I’ve ever had here. You can smell the ghey, and all the ingredients taste really fresh. My stomach was happy after the meal. My partner said the lamb was good but nothing special. The garlic naan was perfectly seasoned and really delicious. The Himalayan salad is super clean and fresh — a great starter for the meal. We had all of that, plus two ginger teas and it cost 40 €. The service is excellent. A man who seemed like the owner came by and was really nice to chat with. He explained that they make all their curries fresh in-house, and I’d say that’s evident in the quality of the food. English is spoken, but everyone else who dined was definitely Dutch speaking. Highly recommended!!!
