It’s a small, minimalist room. But considering there was very very little else available in this price range, on our short notice, it was passable. There were no towels in the room, but service brought some quickly. They only provide a combo soap/shampoo in the bathroom but again, if asked, the front desk provided some lotion and a soap bar. Yes, the comforter is left folded as other reviewers have said, but this seems to be the norm at many hotels around Europe. The pillow is firm which is very much my preference and the bed is next to a window that opens for airflow. All in all, My stay here was incredibly normal. Nothing extraordinary but all my sheltering needs were meet so I could go out and enjoy Amsterdam.

Deserves 0 stars. This is a hostel for college students who have no money and no luggage and just need a place to crash. It is dirty and smells like mold and dirt. We were on the 2nd floor. The stairs are very narrow and steep. The elevator hasn’t worked for weeks or longer. There is no one to help so you take your life in your hands trying to transport your bags up and down. The room is tiny with no storage. So plan on leaving your bags on the floor and stepping on them. Yes I am serious, this is the only option. And at least you won’t have to step on the disgusting carpet Then don’t plan on plugging in anything. There is ONE outlet in the entire room. So if you want to blow dry your hair then you can’t charge your iPad at the same time. If you had hopes of plugging anything in outside of the bathroom, forget it. There are no plugs. The pillows are stuffed w clumps of cardboard so bring your own pillow. And towels. The shower is the bathroom. Or is the bathroom the shower? So everything in the bathroom is sopping wet. You wade while you pee. Then you don’t get new towels even though the ones you used are now dripping wet. Instead the fold up your towels and you get to use them again. Which is lovely because they folded them when they were wet. So they are now cold, damp, and musty. Yum! Our room had an inner window. So no view and no airflow. It was awful. Although cold and rainy outside, with no airflow, the room is miserably hot. With no daylight from the window it is also dark. This place sucks! Spend a. Few more euro and avoid the Quentin. Or just sleep on the street, it would be about as comfortable and use the money you save on a nice meal and a soft pillow

I wish I could give this hotel 0 stars. Literally one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stepped foot in. We stayed for 2 nights in what felt like a cupboard under the stairs. Literally… there were loud noises all night long from people coming and going on the stairs above our heads. In the morning the cleaning staff held what seemed like a 2 hour conversation outside of our room. The walls were so thin we could hear every word. The bed was not even made when we arrived — a «blanket» was just folded on top and left for us to assemble. The paint by the window was peeling and the room had clearly suffered a lot of water damage… but they seem to have made no attempt to remedy it. In the bathroom, there was no separation between the shower and the rest of the bathroom — just a curtain — so water went everywhere. There were mattresses and bags of laundry in the hallway outside our room. We felt like we’d entered the Twilight Zone. It is not worth the location — steer clear!
