Delicious Italian home made food at the centre of Amsterdam. Portions could be bigger. Lasagne with mushrooms and sausages is great. Also try the tiramisu. Just make sure you have a bit of time as the place gets busy and the service can be a bit slow, although they are extremely polite

We walked by this place a few times and spontaneously made a reservation. The menu is a little restrictive, but they had some great choices and both our dishes (Spaghetti Vongole and Fettucine Al Tartufo D’Umbria) were extremely tasty. My wife says it was definitely the best Vongole she’s had in Amsterdam. The sgroppino was also very good — there’s another place that does the best I ever had, but Palladio’s comes in a close second — whereas all the others in Amsterdam I’ve had so far are worthless (that’s a long-​winded attempt at a compliment). The service was very friendly and full of smiles. All in all, great food with very friendly service and a cozy atmosphere… I hope to return one day soon…

Do you know that moment when you’re eating spaghetti with someone out of the same plate, and you’re being a little flirtatious, and as you’re eating a noodle, you realize that the other person is eating the same noodle, and then your faces are drawn together as you’re slurping the string of pasta and just as you’re about to kiss, you realize you’re eating dinner with a dog?
It’s a weird moment.
What’s not weird is the food at Palladio. I’ve eaten here at least 4 times since I’ve been in Amsterdam, and it’s been outstanding each time. The menu changes all the time. It’s totally mercurial!
Service is a touch slow, but that’s pretty standard for Amsterdam. They used to have these very cheeky placemats, but they’ve been missing the last 2 times I’ve dropped by.

Italian food made and served by Italians… right on! Not 5 stars as the portions were a bit too small for the price. but definitely a great place. I sat outside as the weather was just great. In the afternoon they are in the sun so you can enjoy the rays!
My caprino cheese with ham was very yummy served perfectly. Also the un asked oil and vinegar to pouch the great bread in was very very nice.
Beer… beer. beer… pity they have only Heineken. a good Moretti would have made the picture perfect.
Nice location… good to take a break from your shopping or just end up your afternoon :) One of the nicest roads in Amsterdam.
