THE pizza in Jordaan seems to be La Perla but I would really argue that Pazzi is a decent competitor! My gripe with La Perla is the soggy crust but Pazzi does a good job with keeping its pizza base intact and crispy when piled with sauce and yummy fresh ingredients. This is simple pizza done well — actually the simpleness is what prevents me from giving this more stars, it seems that every pizza here is just a combo of the same 5 ingredients without too much variety but it’s still pretty good regardless! I don’t think I would ever dine in at Pazzi: with just a few tables, the space is quaint but uncomfortably cozy — the minute you walk in, you almost feel as if you’re IN the pizza oven. This is strictly my carry out pizza spot, but give yourself up to 60 mins to get your order on a weekend, and as quick as 10 mins on a weeknight.

I still remember the first time i went to this pizzeria. they had just opened and it wasn’t the popular spot it is today. since then they have opened a bigger restaurant and they have arranged their first outlet to have a small sitting area. they have pizzas to cater all tastes but overall uncomplicated. Their house wines are very good and their dessert menu its entirely comprised by Italian classics such as tiramisu. Initially, given that the slow food movement was started in Italy I thought that this restaurant was somehow linked to their ideas, but after having eaten there a few times, i believe is more a commercial tactic that anything else. their pizzas are good but on the expensive side. if you are looking for a sitting down meal i believe there are better options in the city offering same quality of pizza for the same price range.

Excellent thin crust pizza. About 15 different options to choose from and we haven’t tried one yet that we didn’t like. The pizzas are small and a bit pricy but we keep coming back. Best for takeout.

Definitely the best Italian pizzas in the city! Came in right before they were closing, and they stayed open till we were done. Very good service!

I love thin-crust, brick-oven pizza — it used to be difficult to find in Amsterdam, but now we’re spoiled for choice. Pazzi has delicious pizza. If you want to eat there, however, it’s quite small, so depending on your luck, you may have some difficulty sitting down to enjoy your meal — or have to wait a bit. It’s not a restaurant — you place your order, grab your pizza when it’s ready and seat yourself. If you have the choice, take-away is the best option, as long as you live close-by as you don’t want it getting too cold…

Yay for thin-crust brick-oven pizza! Owned by the owners of the Republiek on the beach in Bloemendaal, guaranteed timely, delicious pizza ready to be munched alone or with friends. It’s quite small with not too much seating, but take-away is an option so you can enjoy in the comfort of your own home.

I don’t know too much about slow food. But I know about the song«Slow Ride» by Foghat. That song rocks. Anyway, this is a slow food pizzeria. It’s really tasty. I dropped by a few nights ago to get a couple pizzas when we were in a Ninja Turtle mood. The pizzas were prepared unsettlingly fast. There’s not a whole lot of seating inside(though there’s a spacious waiting area in front), so you’ll probably end up getting it to go. Which is fine. I had the prosciutto. Very tasty. There was some green stuff on it, so you can even pretend to be healthy or whatever. I would definitely go back. In fact, there’s a good chance I’m writing this review as I walk back there. The future is here!
