The vegetable pizza at New York Pizza is just delicious. If you need a lunch break before or after touring Rijksmuseum, then stop here. Don’t leave Amsterdam without eating here first.

It’s easy to find places late night but it’s tough to find reasonably priced ones, that is, and for tourists. If you’re willing to spend an arm and leg for many of the sit-​down places on Damrak, then go for it. Otherwise, you can check out this American favorite. New York style pizza by the slice. This place has most of the traditional toppings and a few exotic ones. I had two pepperoni and a Fanta (their 7.50 Euro special with 2 slices and a drink). My parents had the same with respective drinks. This particular location gives potato wedges for an additional Euro which I ordered. They were seasoned well and pretty good combo with the pizza.

Great for late night, quick by the slice pizza, while roaming around the city. Be aware, if you need to use the water closet/​rest room/​toilet, you will need to pay. I believe it was .50 cents, and it does not matter if you are a customer or not.
The place was clean, and very busy, with lot of options.

It was the second time in the last week that I stopped at New York pizza for a quick hot slice of cheap pizza. For € 2.75 you get a large slice of pizza and it’s quick. The pepperoni slice is similar to Sals pizza but I personally prefer the four cheese. They also do pasta and drink combos for € 6.99

Nothing resembling ‘great pizza’ in any way, shape, or form, BUT if you’re famished and it’s rather late at night, it’s entirely decent. Cheap too.

When it’s 3pm or 2am and you’re hungry around Centrum, New York Pizza to the rescue.
They always have a variety of pizzas in the window ready for you to select from. Tried the Tandoori pizza with Tandoori chicken on top and it hit the spot late at night. Only request is a bit more chicken on top.
Now of course, this is nowhere close to the real pizza in NY and you won’t find Tandoori pizza in authentic NY pizza places, but we’ll allow for some artistic freedom here 3000 miles away.
They are open until 3am and even until 6am on Fridays and Saturdays.
Bottom line: Okay NY pizza (3 stars) but +1 star for being there for us late night = 4 stars.
